Finally got 5 mins free to update the build thread. i decided i wanted to keep things subtle and i painted the waterpump in HT satin black, cae out really nice and fresh. I removed all the stock bolts and custom made my own which i then 24k gold plated. I have had a couple of little issues but nothing that cant be sorted easy enough. At the moment im just mocking things up and making sure i have no issues with clearances.

Some of you might remember the last toyota supra built by us... the 'GOLD RUSH' well since breaking it for spares a couple of years ago my son has decided to build another supra. The body is Fully carbon fibre and all panels are carbon fibre supplied by nur motorsport and to top it off its a wide body. so this build will definitely be supra light weight. He wants to compete again in the show & shine competitions and beat his record of 6 years unbeaten in every show he attended. so the bodywork, inside and most importantly the engine needs to be perfection. everything is done in house and this build will have as much gold as the last but this time a toned down 18ct rose gold will be used. every area of the build needs to be addressed and have something to talk about on it. you can follow this build on our facebook pages DAW- darnley auto works & RM POLISHING. here are few sneeky pics of whats in store for this build... named.... first friday of the month Bluewater, House of Fraser car park Supra club meet there I take my Z so would be nice to see a few more.

Paul, thats a nice looking Z, shame to brake the silver one though, are you going to repaint the whole car or just the odd panel?

that MR2 belongs to a friend of ours Michael Ing we repainted the car in ferrari grigio. He runs the kent car club.

the supra is our flagship for our garage so the zx gets second best,

This is the cars first year at shows with this engine in! i have done 2 big shows now and came away with 'car of the show' in both, so things are going great.

thanks fellas, front needs dropping slightly more than the rear cos theres more gap between top of tyre and wheel arch, its sitting on tien coilovers so hopefully should drop ok.
