  1. ok, im presuming that some of the calipers have male connectors coming out of the calipers to accept the female union, and yet some dont, is this adaptor separate from the caliper do you know?
  2. is it possible that the difference is due to uk and import calipers, they``re different arent they?
  3. just goes to show, I supplied both kits and yet one fits and one doesnt, very strange unless yours had a conector on the end already

  5. I`m thinking of having some Leather- like seat covers made and want to put a logo on it, I`m looking for members suggestions as to the postition of the logo and also the logo itself, whether it be "Z" or "300ZX". Not sure if there is a set 300zx logo, any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

  12. Hello, wonder if anyone can help. I have an aquaintence who has a 300ZX Twin Turbo auto, car has been as good as gold until today. The car will drive but only in 1st gear, the only way to change up is to press the hold or power button. Has anybody had this problem before or could shed any light on it I would be grateful. Thanks in advance for your help
  13. Sorry to hear your bad news, I would have thought the mere fact that you paid by credit card was your saviour. I`m not sure that because you bought from America it`s different, i would have thought not, anyway if you dispute the transaction then the vendor has to supply information re the sale, inc proof of delivery, he hasn`t got that. I`ve done this once before, and it worked, write to your credit card company and inform them that under Section 75 of the consumer credit act, you have not received the goods, therefore you require a full refund. By law they have to do this, subject to investigation, as I said I did it and got a refund of £1500, any other details wanted pm me.
  14. Thanks for all your help so far. He has checked the soienoids and they all seem ok. Had lost 1st gear as well, however fitting a new tranny cured that fault so we`re back to square 1. When sitting in neutral, and putting your foot on the brake, the rpm counter fluctuates (pulses). When accelerating briskly, the rev counter goes up to 9000rpm and then back down quickly to 1500rpm, asnd when sitting in neutral and putting the car into drive or reverse, the counter again flickers or pulses. I`m not sure if this problem(being electrical I think) has anything to do with the fact that I`m still having problems obtaining the gears. When the gearbox ecu is disconnected, the car will only drive in 2nd but the problem disappears with the rev counter. Please can anyone help, we think in the end it might have to be a manual conversion, but in the meantime if possible we`d like to try and sort this out, it`s so frustrating Thanks in advance for your help
  15. Hello, Does anybody know the member "Gixxar", if so is he Lee Poulton. Reason I ask is I bought a part off him last month and I`m still waiting for it to arrive, I have emailed several times, but hadn`t had a response since the 10th Sept. I have pm`d him, if it is him, I know he has read my message but has still not replied and I`m getting rather concerned as I paid him on the 27th Aug. Can anyone help.......... Thanking you in advance
  16. today it got worse. Now even if i rev the engine into the rev limiter it won't change into 3rd. so is it stands, 1st and 2nd are ok whether in 1st, 2nd or D.... it just won't change to 3rd. One other thing, If I have the gear selector in 2nd and lift off the accelerator, I get engine braking. Its only when I am in D and I lift off the accelerator pedal, the rpm falls to idle. I am pretty sure this is caused by the tranny letting go of 2nd and expecting to change into 3rd. Is there a way to test the line pressure or the solinoids without going inside? I was looking around the net for info on the tranny controller, to see if there is a way I can check the resistance of each solinoid but did'nt find any. Either way I think I will have to go inside and have a look.
  17. Can anyone please make some suggestions, I have been posed with this question from a friend After spending all my money changing the suspension and uprating the brakes, my autobox has developed a problem and I dont know what it could be...... the autobox wont change into 3rd gear unless i take 2nd to 8000rpm, then once in 3rd gear all is ok untill i lift off the accelerator pedal. when i do that i dont have engine braking, the rpm falls to idle untill i accelerate again. the overdrive is fine . when in gear, all 4 gears are fine, they dont slip the oil level is ok and clean + the tps is ok as all the other gears change up and down fine..... Thank you in advance for your suggestions
