  1. Might be flogging if theres no payout? Manual box too! Thanks Steve
  2. What with the mot running out 17 days prior, and no recollection, i think it will go knock for knock? Though i might get no payout? s been said though, think ive had my luck! Cheers Steve
  3. Thanks for all the kind words, most people since the crash at the end of may said i should be brown bread, so i might just put that lottery on. The car prob looks more of a mess as two fire engines came to cut me out, i was told the car came to rest between a tree and a farmers hedge or fence so i come out the boot i think? Not to sure how the insurance will work out, i realised the MOT was out by 17 days prior to the RTA, but i have a traders policy that only mentions a valid driving licence?? Funny thing is im a MOT tester aswell! Would like to get a SWB Zed at some stage, but i do need to test my bottle too prior, might touch cloth at 70mph? Plus my daughter hates going in fast cars, so suggests i just use my boring laguna! Again thanks for the kind words, and as said its only a car, Cheers Steve
  4. To be honest i can only remember the early night before, about 7:45 with my mates. Not a clue what happened, i would imagine the car i hit was crossing a notorius crossroads at the top of the hill as i was climbing it at the time, theres always flowers there as it goes. Glad i come out in one piece and the other bloke walked out ok. Thinking of getting some sort of muscle car now and sticking to the pod etc? Thanks steve
  5. Driving home from a friends house 5am then woke up in intensive care! Hows my luck i thought.... Happy after seeing the car i just had some minor head injurys and two broken legs mainly. No one else was hurt so it was all a happy ending. Happened near Beacon hill in Woodhouse, a known crossroads black spot im guessing as my memory was gone. Thanks Steve
  6. Didn't think so, Thanks a lot Steve
  7. Friend of mine wants an all alu v6 engine, i dont think these are, but thought i would consult the experts! Cheers steve
  8. They wont realise they have gone to far till theres nobody to tax of fine! Crime becons in the future!
  9. Back again! The clutch fork arm appears to be siezed, and gets worse the hotter it gets, so its out with the box again! Thanks for everyones replies, advice and help Steve
  10. The clutch is a brand new 3 piece kit done about 20 miles, and loads of people run more power with a standard size fly too, i think either ive slipped up somewhere or theres a faulty part ive missed? Thanks Steve
  11. Theres deffinatly no oil on it (and its a 2ltr T3 fiesta btw), release bearing came new with kit, cable is self adjusted and has freeplay and the fly was skimmed too, forget how many clutches ive fitted in my time, but never experienced anything like this before, going to pull it out and have another look think, somethings wrong somewhere! Thanks for all the info, Steve
  12. Never heard of running one in either! got to say, a week prior i fitted an AP stage 1 organic kit, this slipped straight away too, which is why i opted for the paddle. The car origonaly ran a stage 1 kit from techniclutch with no slip for 6 months? The only difference was the car was being run in when that clutch was fitted. I just want to sell the bloody thing!
  13. I have recently fitted a clutch in my rst only to find it slips! I phoned the clutch place and he says that they can take up to 200 miles steady driving to bed in, as the material is very hard, does this sound right? The fly has been skimmed by the way, Cheers for any help, Steve
  14. cheers, i'll have a look!
  15. sick of clicking links that i'm not expecting! any helpfull links greatfully recieved!!
