I want to get the zed done for the spring so have loads of time to play with it. When the car is running I want it to be spot on and will not have to touch it for a few years apart from oil and filter etc. Thanks for the help so far.

New to all this so some help would be good Engine out replace all the pipes, PCV, temp sensors etc. Also removed egv and water bypass. Anything else???

Will take some pic of my garage looking like a bomb went off A good sort out and clean before the rebuild.

Hiya all Just done my 1st engine out very happy with myself. It when very easy too easy. My garage is now flooded with gearbox oil Oh well a day of cleaning ahead. Hope that makes you smile....

Same with mine got it of ebay ran like a bag of poo but was very cheap flushed it slick50 new oil and filter hay presto very smooth quite zed try it 1st will not cost much.

Ok try this one engine ready to been pulled out just the gearbox to go. I can take it out as a hole lump or split the box How many of you will leave all as one or split it?

I forgot about the knock sensor wire at the back of the engine snaped the wire in two. But for my 1st time went very well. Also I did the water bypass at the same time.
