nice z on ebay for sale
Thank you for the positive comments on my 300 :) The last photo is Simply Japanese from 2015 - good spotting Stephen! Good turn out of Zeds too and all round brilliant day. Will be back again this year and hopefully waving the flag for a long forgotten Toyota. I'll also be found dribbling over the gorgeous RX4 that turns up!

What's up with my fuses? No ABS, HICAS, power steering, indicators, windows or seats
Ignition relay full of water. Drying out fuse box tonight and hoping tomorrows replacement relay brings things back to life!

What's up with my fuses? No ABS, HICAS, power steering, indicators, windows or seats
This morning I got the carpet up on the drivers side and it is wet underneath. The actual fuses and wires are dry but that's not to say they haven't been wet. Had to stop now because it's raining! 1. Is there anyway I can manually adjust an electric chair? I cannot get the carpet up properly as the chair cannot be moved to expose the bolts. 2. There's a large fuse box and a small relay box in the engine bay. Are there fuses located anywhere else that I may have tripped due to water ingress? 3. Does anyone know if the last fuse on the bottom row puts the gearbox into safe mode?

What's up with my fuses? No ABS, HICAS, power steering, indicators, windows or seats
1990 TT JDM, 112K, Automatic Just acquired a new Zed. As per title I have no ABS (lamp on), power steering, HICAS (lamp on), indicators via stalk, electric windows, electric seat, interior lamp or cruise control. The CAT warning light is erratic. In addition my gearbox seems to be stuck in 2nd or 3rd. Definitely no 1st or O/D. I can go backwards, the O/D lights up but nothing happens. Sometimes you can feel it wanting to kick in but it won't. It had a reconditioned gearbox about 25,000 miles ago and the fluid is clear. Perhaps it's wishful thinking but I feel all these problems are related. One thing I have worked out is the bottom row of fuses under drivers kick plate are: Interior Lamp / CAT error light / PS & HICAS / Indicator / Cruise & Automatic Tran Makes no difference if they're in or out. What should I be looking for that could be at fault? Broken wiring around that area?

Auto TT reluctant to shift up by itself. Stuck in power mode? Dodgy ECU?
Thanks Jeff - will take a look!

Thanks chaps. Are ZX's normal ATF fluid?

Auto TT reluctant to shift up by itself. Stuck in power mode? Dodgy ECU?
Its' been sat for 4 years. It gets moved every 6 months and a 40 mile drive each MOT. Most of the time it's outdoors too - undercover but exposed to the temperature.

Auto TT reluctant to shift up by itself. Stuck in power mode? Dodgy ECU?
1991 TT 300ZX, Automatic, UK model, 81K, 50K on gearbox (reconditioned unit fitted but not in my ownership) Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on why my ZX is being a bit odd. It won't shift up unless I blip the throttle. It will either stay at the RPM I'm travelling or climb until it reaches 5500-6000rpm, then change and you'll feel it whop the torque converter in. If I lift off the accelerator anywhere within the range that's suitable to change up, she'll do it instantly and smoothly. Kickdown works Changes down if I brake O/D works I have gears R, 1, 2, 3 and 4 (O/D) Shifter works Gear changes are smooth if I control them I've had quite a few Zeds (some brilliant, some awful, all auto) and a JDM auto here to compare with. That one works as it should. I've always found there to be a lot more 'control' through the throttle compared to similar cars but this Zed isn't right. Once warm it should be shifting up by itself between 2000-3000rpm on a constant gentle throttle. A big side effect of getting stuck in gear is drastic fuel economy. The power lights, which obviously in the UK car aren't labelled or selectable, do light up if I put my foot down and go out if I back off. It doesn't appear to be stuck in POWER mode but could that be possible? I've had the car years but its' been in storage. It's always been odd but now I'd like to take it somewhere, however I can justify single digit MPG! I need it to shift up and not fall into 3rd gear on a cruise.

What's this to the left of my powersteering tank?
Excellent - thank you very much chaps!

What's this to the left of my powersteering tank?
OK, stupid question. I believe it's related to the power steering/HICAS given it takes a feed from the tank but what exactly is it? I ask because it needs to be moved slightly on my project car for some welding on the inner wing. I need to make sure it goes back properly but it would help if I knew what it was!
