  1. hi if any-ones intrested ftooc are holding a mini meet at unit 53 sandyway,tamworth,b77 4ds tommorow(sunday)meeting at maccy d,s first 9.30-10-30 at ventera park, then moving on to the unit, last time we had 20 cars, all are welcome if any one fancys a day out
  2. rear chassis rail rust, roof rust and top flitches ,espicially under the fuse box,are the worst area,s of concern on these, but as still a v6 that likes to be reved,is,nt that great on fuel, lol
  3. ford st orange is called electric orange and is a 3 stage pearl, even £200 is a bargain, wish i had some friends like that
  4. blooming normally applies to trapped damp air (condensation) and you should really nib back to the previuos before it started as it may dissapear when the warm weathers here but have seen it come back when it gets cold ,plus you run the risk of it lifting and flacking in time to come, sorry may not be what you want to here but seen it happen
  5. lol, wanted to make it mate, bit flat out at the mo,plus trying to get the beast done, plus it,s got a couple of new mods now lol, any chance on doing the next one on a sunday, its easier to get a day away from church than work ,lol
  6. fair point ,but who pays for rectifing a poorly moulded panel ,every-thing can be made to fit and be re-paired ,you would charge the same price to fit a geniune panel with not much fuss as a pattern panel panel that you say needs a little nip and tuck with a grinder and mig?
  7. velocity red as on the rx8 ,its a pearl
  8. lol you got a pic of my car in there
  9. hi mate you have to shave the to[p and bottom lips off the reinforcer and relocate the little brackets on the bottom of it to the side a bit more for the open mouth part should slip straight on then hth
  10. hi mate if its still tacky after 4 days, the mix must have been wrong, are the hardner and thinner tins alike ,and you might have mixed them up,plus how old is the laquer as you should,nt be using it with thinners really now days ,plus if you managed to mop it up it must be going off ,if only the door is the prob you could just flick the door again and see if it reacts again before pulling it all back off,if it goes o.k but the laquer still marks i,d be tempted to give a 1500 all over then re-laquer the lot with perhaps some compliant laquer that dont need thinners ,hope you get it sorted mate
  11. with-out seeing it mate sounds more like over load of the laquer ,you using thinners in your clear coat? probally no use to you now but on the chance you run out again on a part panel start at the opposite end and flash up to where you ran out or you might have a reaction(silicone etc)try flatting it down and mopping back up try not to break through the clear coat as this can be sealing the cause of the problem hth
  12. think you need the powers of photo-shop cause i think i,m right the more i look at it lol
  13. i think if you had cut the bottom slats out,to open them up it would look a lot better, top looks great ,bottom looks odd compared to the top hth
  14. hopefully its just scratched the polish?nothing worse than roaming cats or birds with big ar**s lol the flying type i mean lol
  15. is it me but your avatar looks like the sculpture on the bonnet lol
