Wow put a 91 non turbo in (probabaly what il be looking at buying) and only £450 :):) No idea why my 98 1.8 UK Celica is about £200 more like but i wont complain. Now to find one........

Just did a quote for a 96 non turbo i found on pistenheads and Admiral offered me £659,. Next closest was £1450 :s. I would be over the moon with £659 if its correct.

Cheers again. Both will be alot quicker and more powerful than my current 1.8. I really regret moving from my old 2litre turbo to this. Ok then next question...... what roughly insurance wise do you think id be looking at for a non turbo around 92 plate? Am 25 with 4 years no claims. A rough ball park figure would do, its simply to hot to fill in confused.coms questionnaire at moment. Or maybe im just lazy lol.

Cheers, had no problem insuring my JDM Celica. So whats the difference in bhp etc between turbo and non turbo?

So all UK cars are turbos yes? So im presuming a JDM non turbo will be cheaper to insure than a UK turbo?

Were the targe tops in production uptill 2000? And when people say TT do they mean Targa Top or twin turbo?

Lol. Ok then, ideally I want a non turbo targe top version. What year were these made and whats draw backs/plus points to each?

Cheers Funky, just what i was looking for. My old GT4 was a 2litre turbo and was JDM and never had problems with insurance despite people telling me I would. Will do some quotes when I can be arsed. Seen a few with horrid caravan style rear fogs lights hanging down. Is it easy to incorporate into rear clusters?

Guide sounds pretty similar to Celica guide really. Good read. I thought all 300zxs were only 2 seats? Not just the SWB? Im guessing there is no member for sale section here? Would prefer to buy one from a club. Would prefer a targa top but not keen on the idea of them leaking. This a major problem?

Hi all. I currently drive a Celica ST202 (Gen 6) and before that had a ST185 (Gen 5 GT4) and am after something different and have fell in love with 300zxs. Been looking around pistonheads etc and seem to find myself drawn to fairladys. What is the difference with these and non fairladys? Also what is SWB? Basically im just after a guide to the different models and special editions etc. All advice gratefully received. If I had to say what I was after then id have to say a manual, UK preferable and non turbo. But could be persuaded :)
