I would go the way I did,first get a spare set of mirrors in case it goes pear-shaped! Then cut off the mounting arms and grind flush. all you got to do then is mount the new mirrors and get handy with the body filler!! :D Now I'm happy they turned out o.k. I'll sell my originals on ;)

Any paint supllier mate-can even make up aerosols! :cool:

Well it was a nice day so fitted these and think i sorted the problem from last week,TPS connector was well green!,also managed to fix the g/box catch! :nana2: -so feeling pretty smug at the mo'! :D :cool:

Further to the Z running like a bag o' sh!te on the way home from Peterborough,I started her up later and all was fine!!-anyways did a A/T diagnostic and it came up with''throttle sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected''.What Iwould like to know ,is this the tps or is there another sensor for the A/T?-just in case it plays up again!! Well made it there,nice day,good grub :hyper: Managed to fook up the glovebox catch! and on the home car lost power and the g/box started fekkin' about!! :nono: Anyhow made it back,tried it later and all fine again!! :confused: -I love these cars! :headvswal But all in all another good day-whens the next one Ivan? ;)

Double chrome,ordered em' today! :dance: Fitted the pillar pod and guages-AND finished the mirrors!! :D Not a bad day,shame I didn't get time to fit em'.......ah well :wack: Hope the weather holds out for tomorrow!! :duffer: :duffer:

I know cheapy mirrors!-but with the indicators built in ;) Any how,guessed the best way to get a decent fit was to use the original base-plates-bit o'bodge and a bit o' paint-sorted!! :D
