Layshaft also gives these symptoms, clutch in layshft stops no noise this tends to be a heavier ''rumble'' tho'-depends what noise you got?

As it got TOM TOM on it?-If so start navigator,then tap screen to go into the menu, tap screen again and you will see ''GPS Status''. Tap this and you will be in gps menu. Look at the lower toolbar and tap gps, you then gat a screen with a blue box at the top left corner and some drop-down menu's. Top box should have-NMEA 0183v2 4800 Second box should have-Serial cable on SP2. HTH Daz.
