  1. It was a front tyre. I wasn't going too fast, well within the 300s capabilities.... Not to sure of the exact speed on impact. I don't think it makes sense to go the insurance route, I'm quite young and I can see something like this increasing my premiums tenfold... Looks like im going to have to break it :( Get in touch if you need parts, I have a whole garage full of parts + this car and ideally I'd like to sell the lot in one go for the right price. LWB Manual TT Had Pace intercoolers, 1 has vanished... Blitz SBC i-D boost controller Chipped Ecu's Fujitsubo Giken cat back + lots lots more
  2. Yup the car went round a few times, that rim got torn apart, I dont think N300TT will be wanting them anymore after he sees some pics... :p Funniest bit was the aerial got absolutely mangled, I don't even know how that is possible when they are so high up and out of the way :s
  3. Yeah I walked away without a scratch, its a shame the car didn't fare so well. As you all say breaking does seem to make the most sense, as painful as that may be :(
  4. Disaster struck yesterday. Was driving along when a tyre blew out, thankfully managed to avoid taking anyone else out but ended up in the barriers. Managed to start it and drive it over to the hard shoulder. But the front end has certainly seen better days.... I have neither the time or the enthusiasm to put it back on the road again. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the car, but after having it off the road for months after the autobox went, and now this, I just don't think I have it in me to go through it all again. My thoughts at the moment are to sell the whole lot for parts or repair, along with the shed full of parts I have for it. At least that way someone can do well out of it :) From this To this: I just have to be thankful it wasn't any worse I guess, and check my tyres more regularly!
  5. Hi Terry, give me a call as soon as you can please on:O754 5628 347
  6. I did this a few weeks ago. I cut the two copper pipes that join the matrix near the clutch pedal. Made things a lot easier. So ar so good, fingers crossed no more leaks
  7. Hi Terry could you give me a call. I haven't been able to get hold of you for quite a while now...
  8. Thanks! That made such a difference, finaly have some heat again
  9. Hello been working on mine today aswell, I took a pic of that part for you incase it helps to see on a right hand drive car: I've managed to remove the clutch pedal and the stuff around the heater core. Just need to undo the bit through the engine bay which looks to be a pain, any advice for that?
  10. Thats what I've been trying to follow. I think theirs must be an automatic as there isn't half as much space shown in those pictures when you have a clutch pedal in the way. I've done these 3: But these ones can't even be seen let alone reached as far as I can tell :confused1::
  11. Just made a start on the swap and already encountering some difficulties... How do you remove the black box that covers the heater? I've managed to get a few of the screws out but the top ones seem to be behind the clutch pedal. Anyone managed to change the heater matrix on a manual with the dash in place?
  12. Any luck fitting it as yet? I'm just about to order one too.
  13. I had a bit of fun with a Modena too, don't think the owner was too pleased when my Zed was quicker lol. They certainly do sound nice though ;) So I don't think you'd have much hassle with the Aston, especialy once you're moving
  14. When I purchased from them it was the exact fitment for the Z32 maf, no adaptor or flange required, it came with the gaskets and bolts and it just bolted straight on :s
