:( Help, Ive had a tapping/knocking noise in my engine only heard over about 2500rpm I took it to my local garage and they told me my cars dead>?? Its a UK Auto Z32 TT, on 65k surely it cant be dead. They told me they had a quick look and said it may cost £2500 upwards to repair!??? am i having my pants pulled down here? He told me its had an oil leak somewhere(of which my drive is clean free of oil??) He has put in 3 litres of oil and still got low pressure?? Yet my car still runs ok, and hasnt gone bang...yet? HELP, ive been told there is a good garage near alford that specialises in zeds? anyway to check without having to take the engine apart???

plus i cant get her to start at all now, wouldnt want to risk driving her if i did jump her

had my zed in today, as it cut out yesterday night. and didnt start again, checked the starter motor, alternator etc. Mechanic said its the fueling?!? Ive put a new battery on from another car and it still does the same, not battery. any ideas as i dont want my auto electrician to spend hours trying to find the fault if its a simple one? she cranks over but doesnt want to start, whiteish smoke when it does start?

i have a set of UK standards with legal tyres and im after some new wheels! not sure what yours are worth, so give me a price mate!

sorry this is off topic, but has anyone colour coded these inserts before?

I made my own tints at work, I printed 75% black ink(like a tiny dot matrix pattern) onto 2 large clear vinyl rectangles, and fitted them to my rear lights...very professional finish and looked good, plus i got to choose the percentage tint and colour :)
