Interest in my zed - or lack thereof..
I'd say its probably a bit over priced being an NA, the redeeming feature of it being pearl yellow means, in the current climate, it would probably sell for the same as another colour in the same spec to someone who understood how rare it is...but there are other people out there who just wouldn't want to be seen in a yellow car - rare or not, which narrows your potential market slightly. You have an idea how much its worth because you know what you paid for it. I remember a thread before you put it up for sale when people were saying 'its worth x amount all day long' and you were saying you didn't think you'd get anywhere near that...but I see that thread has been 'cleaned up' now for the sale. All merely my opinion and not meant to offend :flowers:

kris boyd spl record breaker
There have been many discussions about this on footie forums and its hard to compare them as they are two totally different types of player but as far as goals are compared Boyd usually comes out on top... Henrik has a slightly better goals to games ratio BUT you have to remember that Kris Boyd was playing in a poor Kilmarnock side when he scored many of these goals which was more of a challenge than Henrik playing in (what was at the time) a strong Celtic team. Henrik's goal tally was built up over 5 and half years, Boyd's has been over 9 years but the goals to games ratio still comes out close. You also have to remember that Boyd is only 26, Henrik was a lot more experienced when he was scoring for Celtic, Boyd still has about 9 years of SPL life left if he wants it and by that point he would have obliterated the record...which wasn't a particularly hard feat as the SPL is still just a pup as it aint been around that long. :duffer: well done Kris

pay as you go insurance
They came top of the list for my quote on gocompare earlier that's how I found out about them...I've just tried quoting directly through their site and they say the zed isn't eligible, then I filled it in via gocompare again there just now and it is allowing me to proceed with the purchase. They are quoting an estimate of £300 with the Co-op using the coverbox based on me saying 3000 miles per year, mostly off peak. They're breakdown of the cost shows: 7.31p per off peak mile 10.72p per peak mile £39.00 one off charge to fit coverbox installation £24.00 theft tracking

pay as you go insurance
This could work out well for anybody not using their zed often or during peak times, tracker keeps you and the insurer updated on your use and the cost https://www.coverbox.co.uk/how_coverbox_works.php

Live Stand-Up Show prices!!!
just rotten touts online. Their faqs state: Since we are an intermediary and not a direct selling point, our prices often differ from the face value mentioned on the tickets. The extent to which the prices are higher depends on several factors. First of all, the degree of time and effort needed for us to be able to get the tickets affects the price. Prices are furthermore based on supply and demand. Very popular and therefore more difficult to get tickets will usually be more expensive than less popular tickets.

classic car insurance without being garaged
no bother mate, I've had no problems with them and their customer service has been good but having said that I've never had to make a claim. They will probably try to stick recovery and agreed valuation on top of the premium so just check what exactly they are quoting for before accepting, I got them to take them off coz I've heard agreed valuation aint worth the paper its written on from any insurer and I used to work for a recovery company so I'm relying on being able to call in a favour from them if need be.

Anyone devised a quicker way of storing targas?
Snap, thats exactly what I do

For all you N/A zed people

classic car insurance without being garaged
It was me and your right its was in that hilarious tigerpoeton thread :nelson: who has now joined 'the other zed forum' under the same username. I'm with KGM collectors via the broker Lancaster Insurance and they only took £220 and it doesn't need to be garaged but you do need an every day car as well to qualify. If you run a fully comp quote with a low millage (say 3000) on moneysupermarket.com then they come out top of the list, well they do for me - I just ran a quote there the now coz it was quicker than going to find my documents to get the name of the broker.
