  1. Hello everyone, I haven't been on here in an age! I'm a student now and as a result I've gotta sell the beast  It's a 1995 N/A manual with 86000 miles on the clock, new cambelt and clutch last year, going for £2500. I put it on autotrader and I have not had 1 phone call or email. Have I overpriced it? Not even getting a peep should tell me I have, but I bought it for £3K, surely it's not dropped in value that much? Any help on the valuation would be much appreciated!
  2. Ok nice one guys! I'm gonna get that sorted as I'm cycling to work and it's not nearly as exciting as my 300 :D
  3. So the release bearing is knackered; even if it has another 2K left in it, it sounds like crap. My 300 hasn't had a new clutch as far as I know as it's got no service history, but the clutch bites fine in all gears. Seeing as the bearing is a core component of the clutch, d'ya think I should just go to Zworld and get an entire new clutch fitted? I just don't want to pay to have the entire gearbox out twice; once for just the bearing, then again in 6 months time for a new clutch.
  4. Hello again, just want to say thanks for the advice I got last time on my indicator bulb, works dandy now! I've just come back from a 1500 mile excursion to Scotland, mostly cruising speeds of 45-80mph, parked up my car no probs, clutch is silent. Start her up today, every time I drop the clutch a loud, low whining grinding sort of noise is coming from under the car. Is this the throw out bearing that is just about to die or can I get away with not sorting it? What are the health implications for me zed if untreated? :nono: It's a N/A 1996, thanks for any help!
  5. Nice one guys; there was a heap of shitty wiring in there, probably an attempt to solve the wrong problem. Replaced that with a new section using some block connectors just in case, scrubbed out the oxides inside the socket and the jobs a good 'un! I can turn right at roundabouts now without everyone thinking I'm too lazy to indicate! Thanks again :D
  6. Excellent stuff zx-eyes thanks! I've popped the indicator out (it's an import so it was dead easy) only to find that the bulb is just fine! So I'm guessing I'll have to take a peek at the fuses, which are...? Sorry I'm useless, I should have checked this sort of thing before buying the car!
  7. Hello, I've just bought a beautiful pearl white '95 N/A model. :D Brilliant in every way other than the drivers side indicator bulb is bust, and I'm not too keen on people pulling out on me on roundabouts. For my nissan 100nx it just involved unscrewing the front and the whole indicator pops out to allow access to the back of the lamp, is this the same? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
