  1. Nah mate, just outside Macclesfield.
  2. I hope no-one minds me posting this, but it belongs to a friend of mine. http://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/408472-black-wrc-escort-b5-jam-stolen.html Please keep your eyes peeled.
  3. I'm glad you took the spoiler off, lol. I'm afraid i don't really know anything about it, as it had no history when i got it either. I honestly can't remember the mileage either, sorry. I'll have a look to see if i have any more pics. Glad you're enjoying it, and even though the wheels are from a ;) i think they really suit it! I just need to find my Silver one now (H468 AVO) if anyone knows it. I wanna buy it back! I regret selling them both. When i get my next one, that won't be going anywhere!
  4. Well i had a modified silver one (hence the name) but got rid of that as it was a daily driver and only doing 5mpg! I ended up regretting it so i bought this one off ebay (went to Brighton to collect it, from Leeds!) I bought it totally standard except the wheels, which i notice you've removed the centre caps, wise move ;) To be totally honest, i was a bit disappointed with it's performance compared to my Silver one, and it was missing occasionally too, so i changed the plugs and the coil packs. I ended up swapping it for a 2001 Merc CLK 230 Kompressor, worth about £4k!!! How's it been since you've had it? Did you put that spoiler on?
  5. Sorry, slightly off topic, but cbvd, you've got my old car :)
  6. Spotted a Red Twin Turbo heading South around 9am. First spotted you around Wakefield, then playing cat & mouse all the way to Nottingham area. I was in the Silver Peugeot 308 Diesel (giving it death!) and gave you the thumbs up. I have to say, your car looked REALLY well. (much nicer than the EVO X that wanted to show off)
  7. just wanted to say thanks for the advice. i took everything apart, cleaned all the connections etc, put it all back together and hey presto, back on all 6:-)
  8. thanks for the advice. will check all connections. when it was running on 5 it was would only happen sometimes, and only when warm. now it's running on 4 i'm guessing i've disturbed something somewhere. this is my 2nd zed, as i missed the last one when i sold it!
  9. after my new zed starting to run on 5 cylinders, today i changed the plugs, hoping this would cure the problem. just got done, and now it's running on 4 cylinders:cry::cry: now to try and find some replacement coil packs:cry:
  10. hi, i'm still fairly new to the 300, i know nothing about them to be honest:( i've got a 1990 tt, and when it gets warm it sounds/feels like it's running on 5 cylinders. when it's cold it's fine, apart from cutting out from time to time! i'm going to change the plugs at the weekend, to see if this helps, but was wondering what else to look for. thanks in advance.
  11. i now deliver top end cars (astons, bentleys, ferrrari's etc) nationwide. i think it's probably one of the best jobs in the world! before this i was a S.M.A.R.T repairer for 12 years!
  12. i wanted to go tonight but it'd have been 11pm when i got there! i've always been an old school ford man, but when looking for a car i kept coming back to the zed!
  13. i regrettably sold my lwb tt a couple of months ago:headvswal but i've missed it so much that i'm doing a 700 mile round on saturday to collect my new one. it's a 1990 white lwb tt and i can't wait:nana2::nana2::nana2: i'll post some pics up when i get it.
  14. i'm sure it won't be the last time we meet! my missus has already enjoyed spending some (most) of it, lol.
  15. there was nothing wrong with it at all, but i was always affraid of something going bang, as if it did it'd just end up sat in my garage gathering dust! either that, or i would have lost my licence, before you knew it you were doing 120! it was an amazing car though.
