Hiya, Apologies that you got lost - we thought we'd approached everyone at the meet to tell them where we were heading off to and the route! Totally underestimated the amount of traffic on the motorway:o We were the first out of the services and had to maintain a slow speed because of the volume of traffic and the fact that we couldn't work out who was with us! Once we'd gotten off the motorway it was a case of making sure that we maintained a speed that allowed those behind us to keep a decent speed without poodling along! I usually drive my own car, but for economical reasons I decided to leave it at home and passenger. When I take my own car I usually stay near the back of the convoy to allow those who don't know the route, or those who are not sure what sort of driving we do, to stick with us. Things appear to have gone a little skewiff on Friday though! Oh, and it was good to see all of your 300s, even if it was dark!! Would be nice to see more at the meets but we can't drag people out! Give us another go - I'll be sure to bring my jalopy and make sure I round everyone up and you can use me as your pace car until you feel confident you know the way and can shoot past me! Though I think we're trying for a Bristol pub next time!

Distribution was/is their biggest failing - Redline is by the same publishing house and you can find that almost anywhere! Future's other publications include such glorious titles as Quick & Easy Cross Stitch, Cross Stitcher, Cross Stitch Collection, Your Family Tree, Good Woodworking, Scrap Book Inspirations, Simply Knitting! Subscriptions have been an issue to - some of our club members were getting their subscribed issues after I had bought in my local Smiths! These are not dealt with in-house though! I believe their main problem is that they paid too much for Fast Car, and bought out A&S Publishing who organised Japfest. Costs have finally hit home and we the readers have to suffer the consequences! The final decision is being made within the next 30 days! If is closes anyway at least we have done something! I know the Managing Director is watching these forums and getting hacked off by the emails he has been receiving. I also know from Steve, the Editor, that Quote: It's a real buzz to see everyones support, and I heavily doubt any of the other mags that have been closed have had the same reaction. Yes it is absolutely true! No rumours, fact!! Two issues more, then no more! Though the decision has been made the Managing Director is watching these threads, so we'll have to see! If they got their distribution sorted out they'd have more sales, stands to reason! Redline is from the same publishing house but you rarely see the two magazines sold in the same place! I know I can get Redline in Shell garages, so why not JTuner! I feel it's an excellent magazine that covers the whole spectrum of Japanese car ownership, from thrashes, to clubs, to tuning, drifting, etc! And the scene is growing all the time! Bit short sighted to pull something that they can't supply properly!! Sign that petition, if only so that you know you've had your say!!

I'll be at Donny next weekend, but i'll try to make the first meet after i've got my car!

I'm not worried if it's an import, i've had an import MR2 turbo for the last 2 years, so i know the problems you can have getting parts etc!

I live in clevedon and have seen at least 4 zeds around, (usually in the petrol station!), and have also noticed a few of you on here are from bristol. So who lives round this area?

What sort of car will i get within my budget, would ideally like 17/18" alloy wheels and some engine mods. is this likely and where should i look for a 'nicely' modified one, rather than one with guages etc bolted to the dash!
