Sometimes mine smokes after flooring it.. Someone suggested to me that the crank rear seal could be leaking under high load as I never see any oil on the drive, only smoke rising from the back of the engine and from the first section of the exhaust after the downpipes. Im told its a big job to replace the seal.. This may help! 175

Hi Maybe a silly question but how far or what boost should i expect to see on the stock boost gauge on the dash?? Mine appears to move 3/4 and not reach 7. is this normal for a stock TT??? I ask because some days she seems to fly and be very responsive and others she appears to struggle. Also when cold and idleing at say just over 1000 rpm and i touch the throttle the revs drop 2 - 3 hundred before picking up.. any ideas?? Thanks in advance.. Oh one last question.. Who could i take my car to in essex to have it checked over and advice as to what may need to be done to get her in great shape.? 175

Hello guys, I have a couple of questions that I would be grateful for answers too. 1. I need a replacement power steering hose, the one that goes from the top of the pump to the rack ( left hand side facing the car ) Any ideas were and how much it will cost me? 2. I have a funny buzzing noise coming from the interior light cluster in the roof linning of the car. I pulled it out and found the culprit. Does anyone know what it may be and why it would have a couple of air slots below it? Many thanks for any help. Wayne 175 :confused:

Thanks for that... Been running around yesterday an it appears fine now ..constant temp..Until the blooming a power steering hose started pissing out fluid...Gawd what next...Not bad for three days eh..

undefinedundefined Hello, I picked up my first 300zx this weekend and 30 miles from home it over heated and blow all the water away. Looked like it came from the nearside as the nearside wheel was soaked with water. Atfer recovery my friend and i stripped the cooling system down but could find no reasons for the over heat and thought it may have been an air lock or something. However when we removed the expansion box it appears to have a whole at the top of the box with no hose.. I can see water coming out of it after a little run.. Should this whole be there??????
