It definatly aint the bonnet anyway as had the bonnet off for other work and squeeks were still there!!!

Just got myself a TT 300. But 2 problems are after coming up, firstly a loud squeek coming from the front suspension, thinking it could be the upper swingarm as it seems to be coming from that area and its a common fault in other nissans like almeras. Anyone had the same prob and if so is it just a case of biting the bullet and paying main dealer prices for the part? Secondly the steering is after getting a notchy feel to it, its allmost like a quarter of a turn is stiff and da next free and so on. Thats about the best I can discribe it. Sometimes seems to be worse than others. Checked the fluid levels and they seem fine. My mate had the exact same prob on a NA 300 but unfortunatly crashed it before he found the cause. Any help would be great.
