  2. Cheers Herman thats gr8 m8!!!!    Amazing how a sticker or two can become so exciting!!!!!!! lol. Thanks, Pete
  3. Any one????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well what the hell only been another month near enough without even a reply!!!!! Don't mind if it takes a year at the mo but some acknowledgement wouldn't hurt!!!! Rant over until next month!!!!!!!! lol. Cheers, Peter
  4. I know it's been said over and over but glad you and the rider should both be ok. At least the bodyshops / repairs in the UK are far superior to Japan and Peter at PPS may be a good person to call as for repairs. Its a real shame when things like this happen but whatever route you take make sure its a Zed!!! Take care & get well soon. Cheers, Peter
  5. Still waiting for mine as well and posted on here about it about 3 weeks+ ago!!!!!! Still no reply!!!! Maybe in the NEW YEAR eh?! lol. Pete
  6. Hi Herman, Can you let me know when to expect the Stickers?? No sign as yet. Cheers, Peter
  7. All the best m8, I had to sell my UK TT for a family car and settled on a Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.8 VTI. To be honest they do shift for what they are and it was a great car for what we needed at the time. Was never going to touch the Zed but still a very good family car which not many people know about (hence low prices!!). Mine was Silver with a factory fitted bodykit and looked great as far a family cars can! ;) Sadly my partner and I split thats the bad part  But it did mean another Zed so that was a plus! :hyper:   Whatever you get best of luck with it m8, kids are worth the price as any father will tell you!! Cheers & all the best, Pete
  8. Just got one from Halfords specific for the Zed. Had to be Special Ordered but only cost £48ish ?!?! didn't seem to bad to me. Peter
  9. Ryan is re-building one engine for big BHP, helping finish putting the top end of another engine together in my car and helped source my new alloys which are the nuts!! :hyper: :hyper: As everyone has said before me you coudn't ask for a nicer more helpful guy if you tried!! Plus, you tell me another company/mechanic that is willing to load his Zed with tools, parts and 4 18' Alloys in boxes and drive from Wiltshire to Essex to finish a re-build on your driveway?!?! as I said under the Ztech section on the Traders Forum it's really nice to deal with someone who has a passion for the cars, knows how they work and who will do anything possible to help get what you want done. We joked about how Ryan would be the 1st Zed driver with a roof rack but he managed to get everything in the car in the end!!  Top bloke, Top Company!!!  Peter

So Fuggles these other couple of cars.......................... Zeds maybe?! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Or Skylines?!?! Pete :D
  11. Where abouts are you Jaffa?? Says London but thats quite a BIG place!! I should know as I work up here!!! lol. Don't think i'll be collecting them on the trains though! :D If you can give me a postcode that would be a help. Cheers, Peter If you want to send it private then you can e-mail me on: peter.payne@xchanging.com
  12. Thanks 4 that Jaffa ......................... Sorry for the delay in replying been running around trying to sort bits out!!! :( How long are you going to be keeping them as I may need a backup if the first ones aren't available?!? Pete :D
  13. Hi M8, Maybe worth a little wait if you can as Ryan aka Baggins from Ztech is looking to get some of these in the near future. Maybe drop him a line or he may post on here anyway?! I'm looking for a set as well hence the suggestion. Cheers Peter
  14. That sounds fine drop me an e-mail after your back and we'll arrange something. Cheers, Pete
  15. No worries. Looking at 20 miles away and 1/2 hour drive so shoudn't be a problem. When do you need to be shot of them or are you able to keep them for a while?!? Only reason I ask is because i've got a load of work on-going with the car over the next couple of weekends and working in London i'm stretched to my limits at the mo!! If you need them gone by a set day then let me know and i'll find a spare hour somehow  Otherwise, if you could hold them say a week or two I'd really appreciate it!! :hyper: Did you say they are free?!?!? Cheers, Pete
  16. krsmayo - sounds good m8 as you're not far from me by the looks of things. Whats your postcode?? if you send it to me at work on: peter.payne@xchanging.com I'll check AA Routeplanner and see how far it is. Let me know a contact number as well if possible m8. Cheers, Pete :hyper:

Hi M8, I'm new to the forum so don't actually know you but looking at all these posts really makes you realise just how much of a community spirit us Zed owners have! Plus anyone who beat Shrimpy on the 1/4 must be worth some respect!! :nelson: lol. Best of luck with it all should be fine i'm sure! N.b - Don't forget to take some money for a Patientline Voucher so you can watch the TV!!! no porn but it's better than nothing!!!  Cheers, Pete

the best and cheapest bet is hiring a van as the guys above suggest. Just make sure you drain all the oil out or seal any pipes that might leak!!!!! Baggins will back me up on that one :D :D :D I was fortunate in that I picked it up from AndyZ in Thetford (he had a hoist) and drove ot to Baggins (who had a hoist!!) so made life easier. Had to jetwash the back out at the BP station on the way home!!! lol. You can hire a hoist from somwhere like DSS or somewhere like that only £20 - £30 a day I think. Incidentally the total cost of the van and diesel for the above trip which was 600 miles !!!! round trip only cost £128 all in Hope this helps a bit?! Cheers, Pete :hyper:
  19. Cheers Jock, Will do. Pete
  20. Hi Guys (Girls as well if there are any?!), I received my new APC Silver Carbon seats yesterday :hyper: :hyper: And was measuring up last night. Looks like they'll be a tight fit but should go in ok !! What I wanted to know is : A) Does anyone have non ZX seats fitted to their cars at the mo? And if so: B) How did/do you get around the seatbelt problem?!?!?! The leather seats I'm taking out have the stalk welded to the rails so I'm guessing it needs either the original rails being taken off and attached to the new seats or independent stalks welded/bolted to the chassis?!?!?!  Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated :D :D Cheers, Pete
  21. Cheers 4 that Dave. Will have a look at the W/end. Might be down to the domestic market versions?!?! Autralia / Japan = Different Wiring ?! Pete
  22. Doh!!!! :slap: just noticed that he's under the Trade Section (look for PPS). His names also Peter and he's a top bloke so should be worth a shout. His number is: 0191 523 7677 Cheers, Pete :D
  23. Hi M8, Not sure if it'll help but you may want to try Peter aka LEONARDO from the forum who owns a bodyshop (got my project car from him which had a subtle flip paintjob he did). He is based up in County Durham so quite a trip from Birmingham but the car I got looks good and he's always got a few Zeds in for stuff so might be a good person to speak to for ideas anyways!! I doubt he'll mind me giving you his number so if it's any use PM me at: peter.payne@xchanging.com And i'll give you his number. Cheers, Pete
  24. Cheers Chris that does help although I'm hoping someone can tell me what the wires are by the colouring on the coatings. Pete
  25. Hi All, Any chance someone can tell me what the colours are for what wire when looking at the Stereo loom?!?!?! Sadly although I bought the correct harness adaptor from Halfords the original wiring has been taken out and i'm left with a weird looking thing instead!!! Trying to see whats what is a nightmare and id rather not blow it up!!! The car is a J-Spec if that makes any difference?!? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers, Pete
