  1. Yep, there the ones I have 17" on a staggered look 235's up front and 255 on the rear, if all goes wel I will post some pics up of the car, as im sure i will need help and advice to get the project rolling. thanks again guys!
  2. Thanks for the kind words guys, Im just in the process of cutting a deal and he is willing to bring it over on a tralier as they need to collect a car from near me, I will either tow it home or ask them kindly to deliver it to my house, so I can begin the project. I think first thing is first I will service it, I have a set of AVS wheels waiting to go on when it arrives, and then to take it for a MOT and see what else needs doin.
  3. Hello all fellow Zed owners! Ive been a quite member for quite a while now, but Ive also been searching behind the sceens for a zed car, my search was for a freshly imported Z32 TT manual. As things have been lately I sort of forgot about the idea, until now, I was seaching earlier and found a very cheap Zed for sale, its in the isle of white and I think I have cut a deal with the guy, it needs work but I think its a good starting point to learn and invest some time into. 300zx TT The pictures do make this look like a scrap car, however it runs and is totally stock, has had new turbos about 2 years ago, and to get it running needs a good properly service and a air flow meter. I was wondering what all the experts would advice me, a good starting point to learn about the car?? Any help and advice is much appreciated!! P.S....I do feel very excited about owning a Zed car hence why the search for one never came to a end.
  4. Hi all, I currently own a Subaru Legacy GT Twin turbo, its a manual and in silver which I have up for sale on ebay, after I sell that I would be in a better position to choose a more preferred Zed, or if I can find a part ex with a suitable car I would go for it.
  5. Your right mate best to spend the extra on a model that has had all the necessary work done, rather than fall back a few steps and get it all done urself.
  6. Thanks pete I still have my car to sell, so I think I will patiently wait, but Im just eager to become a Zed owner and start a new project thats all. Thanks for the good advice mate.
  7. The guy has put the price up to £2995, I see this one up for sale, the main reason I didn't check it out was the mileage I wanted something with less miles on it. However it does seem a very nice example
  8. Hey Mr Slick some very good advice Infact that is exactly what I was thinking myself, thanks for your time to look and advise, I will forget that for now and see what else comes my way. Come on Zed Gods, Send me something direct!!!......
  9. Hi to all the Zed owners, Im still looking for the right Zed, after viewing one and tryin to find out as much as possible about these magnificiant cars I found this one on ebay, as currently there isn't really much up for sale. I wanted a fresh import manual and possibly in silver or black. In my surfing I found this example on ebay....330279465720...Its been up for sale for a while now Ive noticed it quite a few times on ebay. Ive emailed the trader and he has told me that there is no record of cam belt change, so that would be first thing, but apart from that I have noticed from the pictures that even though its a twin turbo model it does not have the front bumper vents for the intercoolers.....and furthermore the wipers and battery are missing. What do you Zed heads think, worth a look or walk away job?.....And what sort of price would you guys pay for this? All help and advice would be for a up and coming ZEDDIE!!!!!
  10. Hi all, After recently having a dream in which the Zed gods visited me and told me to become a zed owner I have only viewed one so far, and that is the only zed I have been in for experience, I like the car but I have alot of plans for it. I guess before all that I would like to ask all the experts and professionals in these cars, what is the best model to go for, manual or auto?....2+2 or swb.....and which year I know the early autos had problems with gearbox cooling etc.....so would a 92' model be okay or even later to around 94 or 96? But either way it will have to be a Twin Turbo! Your advice will be much appreciated!!
  11. Hi My email is ksgboss@yahoo.co.uk for any possible candidates. Thanks
  12. Thanks for all the info guys, Im still on the search, Im now gonna be choosy, I think I will go for a manual and in silver and I think around 92' onwards. Lets see if the Zed gods can impress me!.........I will wait for the right one!
  13. Hi all, Im afraid the zed didn't work out this time for me, so I came back empty handed, but Im still on the search, I won't give up. The one I went to see was nice, but a few things put me off, the temp gauge would not go much higher than the cold mark this was after a test drive and a run on the dual carriageway, the shroud was off the vicious fan so I presume this was for better cooling, and when I put my finger into the radiator I had some orange stuff in my finger I don't know it if needed a flush or if that was normal, it was not a mixture of oil and water, it was something else which I could not really work out, not sure if it was rust or a mixture of coolants? The engine seemed solid same with the turbos and auto gearbox, it was a very low mileage model only 65300 the price was very good also, but I had a 300mile journey back home, I didn't want to drive without a correct water temp reading, I didn't want to end up cooking it. Once bit of advice I need, does the 300zx TT engine gurgle subtly on accelaration this is with a standard exhaust system?
  14. Thank you very much all I shall be taking it easy until I get used to the power delivery. Will keep you updated on how the sale goes. Thanks again
  15. Hey, Thanks for the advice, I will be in unknown territory so will be crusing on new roads until I hit home ground which is when I will let the Zed gods overpower me and make me one with the Zed, in theory that will be the period of initiation!.......From then on you can call me a potential Zed God!....Just like all the rest of the God and Goddesses on these forums!!!
  16. Im from Kent I live near Dartford and hopefully I will be making contact with a few of the crusiers around the kent/essex area
  17. Hi all, Thanks for all your advice, the car is in plymouth its owned by a guy called Chris its a dark red colour. Was up for sale on ebay recently.
  18. I bow to the Zed Gods and fellow Zeddies!! Im new to this forum, Ive cut a deal on a Zed TT its a 1992 model, I hope to collect her this coming sunday, its a long way away in devon but I will bring it out of the south west into the more intense southeast lands! Ive read as much as I can on the buying guides so hopefully will spot any issues (if Im awake enough when i eventually get there), this will be my second nissan, before I owned a RS4 Stagea which I enjoyed but sold cause of the mental fuel consumption (180miles per tank). Anyway if there is any advice you professionals can recommend regarding the first inspection and first projects to undertake on the Zed it will all be much appreciated! Smooth Rolling fellow Riders! May Zed be with you!!
