thanks for the input guys. they want technical support and insurance and suchlike so would have to be a shop purchased PC I'm afraid. i had an offer of one to be built for me which i really appreciate but if anything goes wrong there is no backup guarantee. i cant keep traveling just because the damn thing won't boot up lol. they have been using a 500mhz comp with 40gb hdd 512 of ram for about 4 years now and its finally given up the ghost. they have decided to buy a new one and are working to a budget. pc world just confused the fook out of them when they went there so i have said i would try and help them find a reasonable computer. i have seen this and thought it would be ideal http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/568_995109.html they dont need it for gaming but they want to uplaod digital pictures and print them out etc. broadband internet browsing you know the score. they dont want to buy another for a few years would you think it ok. opinions please

ive always been told to rub back the mettalic top coat to a mat finish then apply the laquer. i thought it was to help eliminate orange peel effect but am probably wrong on this fact! thats what i did with my spoiler and it looks fine to me.

you z is a very tidy example when i saw it last year. what i was saying is i wouldnt sell for less than i think its worth. if we all did it then the prices would go up. a true enthusiast will pay the money. at the moment we seem to have a few "dreamers" come on and say they want a z but dont realise they cost a bit to run. i was a registered member for a year before i commited to buy a z. this gave me enough time to research and find all the problems that could happen to them and i feel i purchased a good one. to may people in the last year seem to have purchased a z for cheap money and found that they are complete shitters. only to spend 3-5k getting them right when if they spent that in the first place on a good one would have less hastle with them.(not saying no hastle just less.) the age of the car is a factor but look at 240 and 260 prices now they are starting to rise and for a tidy example can go for in excess of 10k. the shitters will be broken and the good ones will emerge. im glad you are keeping the z dave you may be surprised in a few years keeping her may be a worthwhile investment ;) all the best bud gaz
