  3. thanks again jeff it seems to be detioriating by the day, i dont suppose you know of anywhere that has a conzult system that is anywhere in the north west?i think i should just give up and strip it down for parts the way my luck is going!lol
  4. i have done a self diagnose and changed my throttle sensor but it still isnt working as should do.just need a scanner or something to tell me what is wrong coz ill be damned if i know what it is lol!
  5. is there anybody in the north west that could possibly do a electric test on my gearbox and or engine to find a fault as it wont change gear properly thanks
  6. that is a good question i am supposed to be getting my new tps tomorrow i was going to just screw it straight in as it was can i do this or not?will i need to do anything else? thanks. i havent disconnected my battery yet, every time i try my fookin alarm scares the crap out of me lol, know anything about clifford alarms and how to quieten them a bit?lol
  7. thanks jeff that does sound about right it is struggling to go in 2nd gear i have ordered a new tps should be here end of the week (touchwood) thanks for the advice, could resetting the ecu do me any favours and if so can i reset it just by disconnecting my battery? thanks terry
  8. hi i have done a diagnostic check on my autobox and it says throttle sensor is knackered but after speaking to zcentre they have assured me that this wont be the problem,it is struggling to change gear while driving slowly and the power & hold lights both come on when in hold mode,is there a way to test my gearbox?is there anywhere that i can take it to be tested in the north west?it is apparently a race ready box.sorry for long post. any advice please?:cry:

  10. does anyone have a picture of it on the passenger side? im trying to find the throttle sensor to see if it is connected ok, any pictures would be very handy and will i be able to get at it from the top?any advice would be extremely helpful it is a 91 import auto thanks:headvswal

  12. i have done a diagnostic test on my autobox and it says that the throttle sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected, does anyone know how to solve this i am no mechanic by any means and any pictures where to find it would be extremely helpful thanks all.is there anywhere that i could take it to be fixed easily (and cheaply) thankyou
  13. hi all i have done the diagnostic test on my box, it was the thid light that flashed lnger which means throttle sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected, does anyone have a clue how to fix it?im no mechanic please bear in mind when replying cheers all
  14. yeah thats true there are loads of scoobys! will the stock turbo be able to handle more power on a skyline? i know that i am probably asking on the wrong forum but hey ho they are both nissans thanks
  15. would anyone on here swop their z for a r33 gtst? just wondering what people think it is white and i have been offered for a swap, anyone know much about them?what bhp etc?r they faster than a scooby?cheers
