  1. One of the things my local Nissan garage failed my Zed on last week was a poor horn, aparrently it sounds harsh/grating. It's been the same ever since I bought it, and sounds the same as every other Zed I've heard. Yet they want £150 to fix it.... :x:
  2. 'Twas I. On my way back from Donny - the misses was tired.
  3. 1987 999cc FIRE Lancia engined Fiat panda! 45bhp of raw power!
  4. Nnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Still, at least it would put up the resale value.....
  5. Where do you live? With Tesco my Brother at 22 was quoted £1500 fully comp on a UK spec. Have you tried Axa, my mate has reccomended them.
  6. Played a demo at Max Power Live  , but you do get to use a Z later on.
  7. I've occasionally parked in the remains of the multi story - since it's been lowered there aren't many places I can park, I dont want to mash up the underneath in multi - story car parks.

Very nice mate. I hope you don't have to come to Thetford too much, 'cause a) the crappy road surface will knacker your valance, and b) it looks sweet, and makes mine look pants by way of comparison. For the roads round here, what damper settings do you use? I got a set a few weeks ago, and have it set just 2 clicks from softest. I'm considering going harder, but don't know what you can get away with.
  9. It's a rebadged version of the green thing at the start of the 4rse and the bi-curious.
  10. Do UK spec cars have a speed limiter? I heard that they had one set at 155mph, but on my private road the other night it was indicating 165, and climbing.
  11. Back in the deepest depths of my memory, I remember reading in Top Gear (I think) that Diablo's had this for about 3000 miles before the engines were dropped in. It was about the same time as the changed to 300zx lights too.

Sorry to hear about your car though mate, wait a month or so and get someone else to beat him to within an inch of his life while you sit in the pub. That way you have a solid alibi, and enjoy your drink even more thinking about the little sh*t suffering.

£1500 for a windscreen!?!?  My Dad owns a Windscreen fitting company, and thats probably £1350 of profit for whoever is doing it. For example, most copanies charge about £250 th £300 to fit a Vectra, and I know the glass only costs them about £50. I know my Dad always rubs his hands together when sports cars are mentioned, 'cause the insurance companies cough up.

       My mates brother is a spanner monkey at the local Nissan dealership - takes them days!
  15. The Pioneer P77 is one of the best quality head units available - thats why I got it. 6 volt pre-outs and Burr Brown D/A convertors, as well as MP3 and WMA playback. Several of my friends enter sound - offs, and know a bit about stereos, and as I was after quality thats what they recomended. JL components and a JL amp to run them helps too. (But I should have spent the money on making the car faster......)
