  1. Thanks. It will probably be obvious when I remove it but which parts should I be dismantling? I assume not the motor with it's coils etc.
  2. Hi Chaps, My wife's 1997 Micra has an incredibly noisy wiper arm motor which is driving us mad, especially with the never ending rain! Attached is a you tube link (by another sufferer) of how bad it is. I have tried WD40 etc. but to no avail. Any ideas? Is it easy to fix or do I need a replacement motor? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Sold my Z at the weekend and it was driven away this evening. Feeling sad...after all, I had the pleasure of her company for 3 years. :-( Now looking for a clean Twin Turbo!
  4. Had the W210 and engineering wise it was fantastic. 186,000 faultless miles by the time it left me. Serious rust issues though. The W211 has no body problems as far as I'm aware.
  5. Beautiful. Did you do it yourself or get it done?
  6. Here's mine. Resprayed in Nov 2010 in Audi Ibis White. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?144673-Another-Z-joins-the-Ice-Club
  7. I had the same problem. Dealer part only, but fairly cheap from memory (£15). Labour was around £20 so must be very easy as usually they sc*** you for the most simplest things.
  8. All I know is that a lot of people in the US died driving MR2 Turbos!
  9. Hi all, My Z is currently for sale and I have received the following this morning: Thanks for your response..I'm quite satisfied with the condition and price, and I need you to understand that i am willing and ready to purchase it right away, end the advert, consider me as your favorite buyer.I will be paying the PayPal charges from my account and will be paying directly into your PayPal account without any delay, and I hope you have a paypal account. If you have one already, just send me the address to send it to, which is the email address you use for it or you can send me a paypal money request, so once i receive the details i will go ahead with the payment through PayPal and then I will contact my shipping company after you get the payment. I will need your home address for it to be Picked Up by the Shipping Company. Thing is, this person hasn't even seen the car! Any idea what's going on here or what I should do? Sounds extremely dodgy... Thanks, Shamaz
  10. Had mine 2 weeks ago and passed with HIDs no problem. Had them on for 3 MOTs now. It did however fail on the colour of the sidelights, despite passing for the last 2 years. He reckoned it looked a little blue (white leds) but I didn't want to argue so replaced them with my old bulbs. The sidelights now look horribly yellow, especially against my white HIDs!
  11. From a design perspective, it's notable that the wheel design did not change throughout the entire manufacturing life of the Z32. Normally, wheels are the first thing manufacturers change. I think that says everything.
  12. Hi guys, My Z has started to make that typical fan belt slipping sound (mostly when starting the car and setting off) so looks like I will probably need to get this replaced. Is there a way of confirming it's definitely the belt? Is this something a typical garage can do and how big is the job compared to a normal car? Also, where's the best place to get a new belt? All advice much appreciated. Shamaz
  13. Nissans are the most reliable cars in the world. My Z is as reliable as my wife's Micra, and I'm sure the GT-R is no different.
  14. Always liked the look of them. Pity the ones since became ugly.
