  1. Diamond, thank you , exactly what I needed
  2. Does anyone happen to know the measurement of doors on a z32. Talking about the horizontal length of the door, doesn't have to be 100% accurate but close. Would measure this myself but the car is in a lockup a few miles away Thanks
  3. They've recently dropped a long stretch of road from 60 to 50 around here. Very annoying. Fact is, 2 parts of that road a long, clear, safe straits which you can easily overtake, and most people do 80+ anyway. It won't change how quick people drive, they'll just fine you more for doing it. I insure 3 vehicles and they have to be on seperate policys its a joke. Admiral multicar offer a small discount for doing 2 of them through them but they won't insure my van, which is through gladiator using norwich union, however direct from norwich union wanted an extra £300. This country has gone mad.
  4. i've got a Q6600 dual core quad, with a gibabyte motherboard, not sure on exact model but can find out for you if needed. Its a very good motherboard and allows for loads of tweeks, my first motherboard never worked right (some cheap sh*t) but this has made my life alot easier. I think i got it from amazon just before christmas

  9. I'm a complete prize pig and have just locked my keys in the car. Whats the cheapest/easiest way of getting into the car??? If its not something you want to post online then please could you email to tmorgan1_@hotmail.com I'm really desperate my house keys are on the same keyring (I'm at work now) so I have go get them back asap. Thanks for any help **Extremely pissed off** Tony
  10. sounds like an air leak to me. Had the same problem on my 306. So yea, I'd guess at air/vaccum leak somewhere!
  11. Havn't checked for codes, is there not an engine management light on these? and where is the throttle position sensor? :) Sorry I don't really know much about this car, I just get in and drive it at weekends. Give me a vauxhall and I'm well away :)
  12. I went to strip some bits out of my car last week in preparation for the nurburgring, but most bits of interior that are easy to remove weigh f*ck all anyway. I ended up leaving the bottom of the rear seats in because they're just a lump of foam and it looked shocking without it, I just stripped out all my ICE and the back of the rear seats, and cleaned all the rubbish out of my car which probably saved 10kg alone.
  13. Car is a N/A. Right I'll give a bit of background info about this problem: Just finished at the Nurburgring and started to head home. Filled up with petrol, got down the road and found the heater matrix had blown up. Pulled over, a mate of mine managed to bypass it eventually using a bit of pipe running the heater matrix into the car. We started the car back up to make sure there was water still circulating and there was a little rattle at the front of the engine. Now, we noticed my fan is cracked to buggery, so I just assumed it was this, however my friend was determined it was comming from the top end , like a follower noise or something, anyway, he was determined there was something wrong so tried to take the cam belt cover off, he took one of the air intake pipes off and the vaccum pipe underneath and managed to bend back the cover a bit. The belt looks ok under there but couldn't get a good look without taking half the engine apart (and we were just outside of Nurburg at 8pm and it was starting to get dark), so we didn't want to do that. Anyway, he got me to start the car with the air intake pipe off again and it ran up and slowly died, running lean I guess? So we put everything back together, tried to start it up again and it was just turning over, didn't wanna go. We tried again and he opened the throttle up (right open) and it started and ran fine. This got us back 300 miles from germany, only once did it happen again when stopped at a service station, I started the car and quickly tried to reverse. Stalled it, then it wouldn't start until I floored the accelerator. Back in england I popped to work and when I came home did the same thing again, started it up, jammed it in reverse it stalled (Don't think i'm actually stalling it) started it up (by flooring it), tried to reverse, it died, again, and again, then eventually I got away. .... Any ideas why it doesn't like starting and why its dying so easily? Sorry about the essay but I'm trying to give as much info as possible :) Thanks for any help Tony
  14. Same colour as the one in the far left of zx-eyes' signature
  15. No unfortunately not. It was a burgandy one, with 2 big exhausts. Thats all I saw when some1 pointed it out to me, don't even know if it was a turbo or not cos i didn't see the front bumper
