Hi thanks for the quick reply, bit new to these forum things so bear with me. Yea will rev while standing no problems, and it looks like it has new plugs in. To be truefull i didnt try but i got it for cheap and will scrap but would like to have it for a while as its motd n taxed. will have a look at ptu tonight as downloaded some trouble shoting pages from net. Hi all, could anyone out there give me any ideas. Ive just bought a 300zx non turbo of the dreaded ebay and now i have it home it wont run quite right. Car will start with a touch on the acc pedel and theres no smoke out of exhaust at all But ticks over very lumby, then dies when reves fall, n when driving theres very little power only makes about 40mph. Any ideas where to start looking? Coil packs etc? Many thanks for any help. Chris
