  1. Remove the coil packs one by one, at the same time listen for engine RPM change, If the engine RPM drops then that cylinder is firing ok if there is no change in RPM that cylinder is missfiring, that will help you find out which 2 cylinders are missfiring. Once you know what 2 are missfiring swap the coil packs for two that were firing ok, then repeat the above, if the coil packs are faulty the missfiring will now be on 2 different cylinders, that will help eliminate if its the coil packs or not. Also while your there check the connections to the PTU (Front left of the engine, square silver part with 2 connector plugs one each end) make sure they are clean and corrosion free. Not much but i hope it is some help.
  2. There is an alternative, Brake Quip hoses, these can be supplied by an Australian company called Brake west. You can find Brakewest on ebay, but if you don’t like ebay then you can order direct from there shop or they can be found on the Australian Skyline forum.
  3. Or can someone tell me how to get pics up on here so all can see.
  4. From that picture it looks like the female end is not big enough to be retained by the clip and bracket on the chassis (looks like a Mitsubishi fitting, slightly smaller, seems to be a common mistake) the male end will fit direct to the caliper(check the over all line length lock to lock). But it doesn’t end there, more importantly there are no line locators, there should be two on each of the front lines. The locators are there to stop the line crimping when you’re turning and when the suspension is compressed also to stop the lines rubbing and chaffing on the linkage. I know Goodridge where sending 300zx kits out like this ages ago, I would have thought they would have corrected them by now. Sorry fella, but I would suggest you send them back. If you give me your email I will sent a picture of what they should look like.
  5. Blue, There's loads of black ones out there.
  6. The side mounts look like they have got thicker cores and would probably flow more air, but if you don't need to push alot of air through them its more a case of what you would prefer the look of.
  7. Give Nexus performance a call thay sould be able to help, and there only down the road from you. http://www.nexuspro.co.uk 01702 610838.
  8. Maplin electronics sell a similar unit i think there about £2 ish each.
  9. Most immobilisers have 2 circuits for the immoblisation (4 wires), I know its a bit hands on but if you can locate those wires and join the 2 pairs together that will eliminate the system. Immobilisation circuits normally split fuel pump and ECU +power feed. (not normally higher than a 15 amp circuits, majority are 10 amp). Hope that makes some sense iam sure someone on here would have a wiring diagram they could email to you.
  10. Give Nexus performance a call in Southend, They know there zeds. http://www.nexuspro.co.uk 01702 610838
  11. I was thinking more of a car park of Zed's than the pub its self. But open to suggestions,
  12. I was talking to Andy at Turbo Technics (I think that was his name) november last year, apparently they have produced a set of VNT's for the z32 and are now available. Might be worth a phone call if any ones interested.
  13. There are 2 planetary gears in your gear box, each of those gears holds 4 smaller gears, on each of the smaller gears there are 2 copper thrust washers, these are buried within the drive train. It could be one or two of those washers broken up. Also at the front of the drive train there is a large drum, housing two sets of plates, this drum runs on a copper looking bush, although i dont think it is actually made of copper, it could be that. Email me if you want to get it sorted.
  14. Hi justin, Try jet tyres, They are on Manor trading estate, Benfleet in essex. Sorry i have'nt the phone number.
  15. There are electronic solonoids that fail or can become blocked in your gearbox or it could be a wiring issue in the harness also it could be one of the two seals on the pressure plate for that gear or a blocked fluid journal. If you want any help sorting it out let me know.
  16. Not what you Probably want to hear but i would guess you've got worn friction plates or partially blocked fluid journals in the valve bodys. if you want any help sorting it let me know. Scott.
