Is there a pecking order here ? What happened to the challenge between the GTO (yes - our lot) and the 300ZX's ? Personally I dont mind the three clubs co-operating for a days fun - but we want top be carefull that it doesnt get out of hand ... before we know whats happening all the clubs in the country will be invited if we dont pull it in. Whoever is your rep with the GTO club please talk to Nemisis. I;ll give him a poke today as well to see whats happening. Adam

If you guys have a car running 700 BHP that will give us(GTO) severe whooping. We only have 2 cars in that kind of power band - and one is untested and being a pain to set up. My own car would look like it's in reverse compared to that ... so if you can get him to come along then please do - it'll be cool to see. Looking forward to the day. Adam

Which GTO did you race Pete ? I suspect it was either the red one or the sliver one. The red one was me - it had problems earlier in the month at our RR ... so we did a temporary fix - and since I only managed a 14.7 we know that it needs tons of TLC. New turbo's - fuel pump - fuel lines - injectors - hoses all on order - but that'll take months to fit and get running ready :nelson: I cant remember if I raced you - but we were lined up pretty close to each other at one point ( my 3rd run I think ) and saw you looking over. I didnt know it was you at the time but wanted a chance to pop over and have a chat ... couldnt really do it whilst trying to line up for a launch ! :D Next time we'll break the ice ... I'll be running at CC and the car should be running well by then. Until then. Adam

Reposted from a previous thread. I'd like you boys to know not to make special arrangments to go to the Pod. The el gto boys are having to duck Im afraid. We only have one car that can race - and like you'd expect with just one person he's not keen to face your whole club alone. I wanted to race too - but the GTO's off the road at the moment and parts wont arrive until the weekend after. Real shame - and we'll probobly look like pussies I know. But lets face it - there's not much point in turning up in half rebuilt cars is there ? If this could be reorganised for the spring/summer I KNOW there would be interest from us when the cars are up and running again. From what Iv seen of you boys Id expect you'd still be up for that - seems like you lot race at every oppurtunity !! LOL - these things do come around once in a while ! I posted this exact same question ( slightly bigger bidget - not much tho ) in the old GTO forums a few months ago. The best choices seem to be : Suzuki Cappuccino or Honda Del Sol. Dont know much about either but apparently you wont *hate* either on the odd occasion you drive them. Good luck in the search anyway. Dont think so. We only have a couple of people crazy enough to do that - and cant think of anyone that was at the pod last month running with NOS.
