This is mine, taken at Dunkirk. Using boats as stepping stones to get to the larger ship as in the background you can see explosions and fires on the beach. Amazes me when you see this picture and then others of the troops waiting in VERY orderly ques on the beach! :bow:

I had a little row with the good old DVLA for three years that ended last month. They would never remove a car from my name. I go through 5 or more cars a year so after three years this was getting a problem every month them sending bills to say i still owned car i didn't and i have not taxed them. I sent letter after letter and all they would do would be to send out a letter back to me saying "Thankyou for your letter informing us you no longer own the cars XYZ. What you need to do is send us in writing that you no longer own these cars." How can you win with arguments like that! So I just thought sod it, I've made every reasonable atempt to get this rectified so I'll just let them take me to court and i'll let a judge see how crap they are. So thats what i did. Turned up with all my letters I sent them and their stupid replies, he just threw it out. Suddenly I have all these letter from the DVLA saying "Thank you for letting us know your not the keeper of cars XYZ, they have been registard to the new keeper" Funy that.

If your willing to wait for a buyer I'd say 9k. To sell within' six months 7k.

I'd wait and see what happens, if their computer thinks your taxed unitll then there is no way they will know otherwise! Just dont pay for tax again!

Dont drive it, drop the gearbox oil and pan, clean up the filters and replace the oil with new. See how it is then. Damage is most likely already done though, so start saving for the the worst case. £1600 ish manwel conversion
