  1. Sounds like me Alan, it's a 1992 Jap TT (Auto) Had a blended spoiler fitted around 2 years ago and 19" rims fitted last year but there a little tatty after allowing my sister to have a go :( Unfortunately considering selling her :( Or a better job lol Gary
  2. I have taken my Zed to Jeff since I bought it, apart from mot and emergency radiator change after it went on the way to a family emergency in Scotland last year. I may add that I was supplied the radiator from Zedworld, and it was couriered within 24 hours, I could never thank them enough for the help they gave me. My zed is having a new alternator done on tuesday, prior to my relocating back North and will always recommend Jeff and Zedworld. Good Work Fella's and Linda C U Tuesday
  3. Aint put the heating on but it's not very warm in Coventry StellaZ, you got rid of your car? :(
  4. £3500 back in Feb 2007 and have spent more than that again on it, and its been worth it. just wish I could see that much come back for it when it has to go :(
  5. Thanks All for your response, I have sent a message to Jeff at Zedworld for supply and repair. Gary
  6. Are there any easy checks that I can do to be sure? Any idea how much one costs? Desperate, need to travel to Scotland mid-week?
  7. I bought a new battery on the 16th July and it died on the 19th Aug, I tried to jump start it but nothing, took it back to the supplier and they tested it with 3 different types of meters and got absolutely no reading whatsoever? They have kindly replaced it and I have checked all fuses in the three boxes on the car and they all appear to be okay? I have fitted the battery to the car and it started first time all working as should, however I have tested it on idle and the reading is 12.3v (Electrics thread say's should be between 14-14.5v)? I have switched on blower, lights, fogs, rear window demister and fogs, this results in the meter reading 11.9v (again the electrics thread states should be between 14-14.5v)? I urgently need help as being currently unemployed I can't afford to have to replace the battery again, I have spent all my savings getting it mot'd and taxed. I'm in Coventry, if anyone is around the area? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter. Gary
  8. Fallout 3, best game bought for the PS3 in past 6 months. Highly recommended :)
  9. Craig, Think you already know the best choice for "Putting that Smile on Your Face" I have owned a Cupra and a Cupra R, I considered a Civic Type R, however value for money and Modability its the Cupra R everytime. Points to note, try and get a Cupra R with the Genuine Recarro seats in, the ones with only a R stitched in them are not genuine Recarros. They were a £1000 optional extra and the only other optional extra was the Sat/Nav. Engines are almost bullet proof and you can have them rechipped and remapped and still keep the car in warranty so long as Seat do the work. IMHO the downside will be replacing the front tyres, Pirelli PZeros are standard. I'm sure you have researched both cars and I understand the reasons for wanting to move on from the Zed, I myself am considering changing mine for a 7 Series. If you want to see any pics let me know, good luck bud
  10. Parked in car park on Tuesday night. L240 DKH, anyone on here? Started to see more and more, which is strange considering the weather/conditions? Thought most would be in hibernation over the winter, apart from my daily drive. :)
  11. See a Black Zed parked up most nights and mornings, anyone on here? If no response I will leave a site card on the window?
  12. Out of sheer curiosity? Where do you suggest I start?
  13. Cheers Andy, Not anymore lol, has been in for various oil leaks (Four last time) I found the said bolt wedged at the front of the radiator whilst looking around today. Cheers for your help, no doubt when I start to upgrade I shall be back for assistance :D I'm great at taking things apart, putting them back together is another matter lol Regards Gary :)
  14. Cheers for that Smithy, at least nothing major, have spent a great deal on sorting mechanical problems out since bought last Feb, now want to upgrade as I go. Regards Gary :D
