Had a letter off her insurance saying that they hold me responsible and their claiming injuries too. I am going to fight it but whats the next step now?

I understand completely where you coming from scoops and i know your not taking shots at me so no offense taken at all. I did ask for peoples opinions and i got them fair doos. Also the micra! its big pimping mate! All i can say is im glad i was in the micra and not the pulsar as it could have been a lot worse! Its made out of paper n doesnt have any airbags! lol And gruntpa64 my insurance is dealing with hers, thats all i know but if things do go tits up i have access to a very good solicitor. Is this what you mean? If not can you explain a bit more for me please? Cheers

I can guarentee you i was not speeding as i was in my mums brand new 56 nissan micra convertable and not my 330bhp Pulsar! I do trackdays and know to save my speed for there! I was booked in for Donnington this sunday but thats not happening anymore. She was going really really slow which would explain the high impact colision. It was the ladies offside rear and my nearside front which took the majority of the impact so i would have thought that was proof enough of her cutting me up. And yes my breathalizer test came up 0, i hadnt had a drink in 5days. I know the majority of people will probably say because im a young lad i was speeding which is complete *****cks, i know speed kills and i save it for the track! And i have never had a bump before and will have been driving 3 years this coming February. But people including myself constantly moan about old ladies not being able to drive and in my opinion that was the case for this incident.

l ol I have not admitted liability at all and the policeman said it could possibly be a joint claim too. I have pictures on my phone of both cars showing the damage and the angles etc. Also the lady said she was really sorry to my passenger so does that count for anything??? She also could not thank me enough for helping her out as her door was jammed shut we got her out of the car and made sure she was ok etc, she seemed pleasent on the phone but she was also careful about what she said. I phoned the witness up before and he said he was willing to give a statement and we left it at that, and another witness turns out to be a friend of a friends sister who i have never met or spoken to before and she seemed very nice so.

Hey guys i was just wondering if i could pick your brains. I was involved in a pretty bad car crash on Saturday night with another car and im adamant it was not my fault but theres always 2 sides to any story so what do you think? I was coming down a 60mph dual carageway in the outside lane doing no more than the speed limit as the roads were wet. Infront of me there was a Toyota Yaris, she must have been going really slowly as i was catching her up pretty quickly, either way... I see her right hand indicator flash twice and then she pulls over into the inside lane, so naturally i assume she flicked the indicator the wrong way but moved over to let me overtake, so i went to overtake, the next thing i know she cuts accross into my lane without warning so all i can do is slam on, and i went straight into the back of her at atleast 50mph. Both cars are total write offs and really messed up, both airbags deployed etc. Where she cut accross me there is a tiny gap in the central reservation and i can only assume she was going to turn into there. There are no road markings or sign posts though. But to go into the inside lane then cut accross the outside lane without checking her mirrors or signaling? Surely she should have checked her mirrors before attempting to cross from the inside lane to the outside lane. We all went to hospital, both ladies have head injuries but they are ok now and i have a broken wrist and my friend broke his nose. There are indipendant witnesses who will give statements but from what i have said who do you think is at fault? I am only 19 and was in my mums micra at the time and this lady must have been in her 60's. The first thing the police did was breathalise me but i dont think they tested the lady. My friends got a 3l diesel and to be honest its a fantastic car, in the 2 years he's owned it they have had 1 problem with it which was covered under warrenty (The fuel gauge stopped working twice and they kept running out of fuel). Apart from that its a great car, comfy, reliable, quiet, big, safe, not too bad on fuel and they do look nice. The 3l diesel has a bit of poke behind it, not too quick but will keep up with faster flowing traffic with ease. Performance to fuel ecomomy its the best engine to go for. If your missus is really after one id go for it, im not a big BMW fan but the X5 is a nice car.

I believe in UFO's, if were here why cant there be other lifeforms elsewear in the universe? What makes everyone so sure that we are THE ONLY lifeform in the universe?

Although iv never been out in a TVR we had one (A Cerbera) come into work and i must say the finish on it was terrible! None of the panels lined up properly, the bonnet didnt sit properly and the doors sounded horrible when you closed them. I asked the owner about it and it hadnt had any work done on it as yet but it had only done 20 or 30k. Im only going on what iv heard and read but reliability is a major issue with them. IT didnt even look impressive in the engine bay. This was the V8 one. But as a weekend toy you cant beat the noise! I dont know whether all the cars are finished porely but by having a close look at that example it put me off wanting to own one. Although id kill for a Tuscan purely for the looks and the NOISE!!!

Iv got a Pulsar, 300bhp in a car that weighs about as much as a fag packet, 4WD handling and launching. If you dont launch the car hard a lot it will be fine. They do like to eat gearboxes and clutches but thats only if their abused, mines been fine and many people on the GTIROC will vouce for that. If treated right their pretty reliable cars, just like Zeds i suppose. They like to understeer and eat fuel but their fantastic fun and just like a Zed most people dont know what they are so its like whoa nice car mister. In the last week iv had 4 people ask me what it is and why is it so quick and noisy lol

Im not 100% going now, meant to be going away for the weekend but realllllllyyyy wana come to this as its always fantastic! Il let you know if you need to wait for me at the services pete, if you dont hear from me assume im not coming lol

Cossies are slightly over rated, and as standard their not all that good. But with the right mods their bloody rapid cars! And i would deffinatly have 1, their rare, their 4X4 and they gotta turbo, what else do you want?

Il probably bring the Pulsar agen mate, im hopeing for a minimum of 300bhp and 300lb/ft with the mods iv got to put on. Theres no point in me bringing the mx5 it only puts out around 150.

Il be up for this again but not for atleast a month, i seem to have collected some nice parts over the last few weeks which need fitting before i take it on the dyno again. If its before then il possibly come and spectate depending on the date obviously.

I fooking hate chavs and their stupid looking cars! OK fair play i can understand and appeciate the work thats gone into them but it is not my cuppa tea at all and half of the cars are too over the top and look ****! IMHO of course even though they may think its cool and most of us dont thats their choice. And what has been said before insurance for young drivers is horrendus so yes most of their modding will be the body work and not in the engine bay where it matters beacuse its easier to get insured on a slower car with bodymods than a fast standard car. Give them all a few years and when the insurance gets cheaper for them i have no doubt in saying that they will progress on to proper performance cars, albeit will stupid bodykits too :D Atleast they have a hobbie and you never know if a lot of them have done the work themselves, they could progress onto a bodyshop business or anything. I still hate the way they dress though stupid pikeys! lol

But its an X reg. Write off or ringer springs to mind!
