  1. I ve got a small problem since i ve converted my car into man. Every time i start the car the power lamp on the dash blinks.Did anyone have a similiar problem?

  4. Give it a look i think 100 & 118 must be availiable somewhere cause is what small planes and drag cars use
  5. 1 more thing if u finally decide to tune it tell them to make u at least 2 programs 1 for the fuel that u normally use and 1 for higher octane fuel, we usually ask for 110 or 118 octane fuel if u can find some and u just press a buttom on the f con to switch between programs
  6. U can always send it to Japan to tune it but with this ecu u'll get max performance with custom tunning and Ryan my suggestion is to do the tunning on a dyno as it makes a huge difference

  8. Apart from JUN which uses the JAP version a friend of mine here in Cyprus is also a pro dealer and from what he told me there are only 4 in Europe the 1 is him and the other 3 are located in the UK so it seems that u got 2 more options to get a better price
  9. Just remember something that they might not tell u as i think in some places is free of charge and it's a very good thing. The f con v has a built in launch control software which the installer can set up for u by putting a small switch and u can select the revs by putting an hks mixture control

  12. it's hard to find a na end here and all the hard work is goin to be done from my mechanic so i doesnt bother me only thing he wants to know because he didnt do something similar again is what modification the tt pumb will need

My mechanic suggested that now my car is manual we should remove the hicas but he told me that he could manufacture a hicas eliminator bar like the 1 escort racing is using.Only thing i want to know is what stuff i should need to change as i want to remove all that useless metal for ex. i will close the oil pot hole that goes to the hicas but what about the pumb?

  16. Yes that will be Jeff. I think it's the relay's fault as when i disconnect the negative pole and put it back it makes a tick tick sound.
  17. I ve done some checking on the electrical parts of my car and it seems that a have a bad relay only thing i dont know what is there. Is on the left side of the car in the back seat behind the safaty belt panel. I think is either the fuel pumb controller or some kind of an amplifier. Anyone knows what it is?
  18. Can anyone post a pic of the left side of the plenum and another of the air pod inside the left wing? Basically i want to see the hoses of the clutch cylinder that connects to the plenum and where should exactly the air pod inside the wing should be mounted

That's for the Japanese software but i dont know wether the english version has 1 also but i know for sure that the english version is not a translation of the Japanese.US hks develope that for it's own if u have someone over the states i think he'll be able to help u more on the english version
  21. It's a security key which connects in the printer port and without that u can not oparated the certain software
  22. Fingers crossed mate cause beleive it's a very difficult task. I know there is an english version outhere but never seen it in action
  23. It's not about the software mate the difference is that the newer model uses a 64bit chip and the old an a 32bit bassically runs the calculations faster. The newer model also has a launch control and a blue lazer shift light which is 3cm!!!(I saw 1 yesterday it's ****ing great) but i think u can install those on the older version. Even though both versions are better from the F CON S. JUN director S Koyama happens to be at cyprus until tommorow and he uses a software directly frfom hks.His laptop is connected with the f con v through a tel cable and it has a safety device back in the prtinter port which is the f con software key. I can see the maps but cant understand something as it's in Japanase. Only Ryan's has to find out it's wether the previous tuner put a password on the f con v as a tuner is able to put his password so no-one else can alter the settings
