Im gonna fix it what ever bud. I have just waited for a year to get engine etc. I love it tooooooooooo much to give up!! Especially when it wasnt my fault!!

Hope so buddy. Im gonna get some pics up later to see if anyone would have an idea of costings. Just looked though and under the car is creased FFS I think thats what may have caused the rear hatch to lift.

My wife has just been talking to her sister. They are back home now in Holland. Forgot to say that they are Dutch. Just found out how there insurance works. The dutch insurance pays you the value of the damage etc but lets you keep the car to either get fixed or to scrap. So how will it work for me then, if the dutch insurance pays up. Surly it hasnt got anything to do with mine though cus they wont be paying anything.

So i dont have to except what they say then!!?? The car is drivable and would still pass mot etc. Its just so fookin annoying that such a good working car would be scrapped. The rear lights didnt even get broke:cry:

The bumper thats damaged is a normal bumper. I have changed the front and put on a spoiler. Theres no way i can take them off. What im worried about are the interior side of things like my Navan gear knob etc...

If they did write it off, would i be able to get parts off it before they did??

What can i say. There i was in the sun after a day out in london with my wife and family then BANG!!! I got shunted from behind at a pedestrian crossing. Thing was it was my wife sister and husband who did it!!:cry: The damage is quite bad. Dented my rear bumper which isnt the problem but it also damaged and bent the panel between the bumper and lights pushing it up and causing the rear hatch to lift. I cant get it open and now i have approx 8 mm gap on either side. Ive only had it on the road 5 months from the new engine i had put in FFS. I have never had this happen before. I was wondering if and how the insurance would work on a case like this. There is no dispute who was in the wrong and he admits it. Im fully comp but can the insurance company still write my car off even though his company will be paying?? Reason i ask this is because that center panel at the back looks as if its one with the two rear wings. :cry::cry::cry:
