High Mileage?
I currently still have a '71 SuperBeetle Karmann Convertible. tho I am thinking of selling this. Need another car tho regardless, used to have 200bhp Corrado VR6 but brakes failed and had a nasty incident with a roundabout last year. Shame, it was an awesome car and immaculate.

High Mileage?
What are TT's like at mileage over 100k? I'm going to view a TT manual that is well over 100k miles so just wanted to know if I'm wasting my time or not really. I come from a VW background and generally speaking they dont really get good until nearly 100k, so mileage has never really bothered me that much, so long as car has been looked after. Its got FSH and looks good to me, but this is the first nissan I've seen with high mileage so not sure. What do you guys think?

zx/fairlady insurance
I guess what I'm really asking here then is that Imports from Jap. will have to be insured as Fairlady's? Whereas UK models are insured as 300zx's? And thats the bottom line yes? I mean, a J import can't be insured as a 300zx right? Oh, and at the moment I'm only using confused as a baseline (as I always do), altho having said that they usually come up trumps for me!

zx/fairlady insurance
Not wanting to hijack the NA v TT thread thats on at the mo, Ive just got a question about 300zx/Fairlady insurance that stellaZ posted in response to my post. Let me see if I've got this right. If I was to insure a TT import, it would be registered as a Fairlady and not a 300zx right? I'm only getting a little confused.com as when I use said website it gives me the option to insure both 300zx and fairlady twin turbo's as either UK or Jap. Obviously the difference in quotes between a zx and a fairlady is huge, so i wanna get this right!

Question about Z I saw yesterday
ok, well not to bothered tbh. As I say it seemed to drive well and everything seemed to work. Oh while I think of it, is there a way to tell if the HICAS is working? I'm sure its covered elsewhere so I'll do a search regardless, but if someone is willing to post up.... :D

TT Vs NA
Just a side note from my limited experience (as I've not owned either yet!) but I'm getting far cheaper insurance quotes for a TT! In fact a NA would be twice as much to insure for me, as I can get the TT on a classic insurance deal. It is for that reason alone that I am looking for a TT, as personally I'm not interested in the speed, mearly the looks :)

Question about Z I saw yesterday
Hi all! I'm in the market for a 300zx and I went to see one yesterday. It was a good price and all seemed ok on it, boost was good, no smoke, drove well, all except the oil pressure gauge didn't work and for some reason the auto-box diagnostic thing didn't seem to want to work, unless my mechanic m8 wasn't doing it right! Should I be worried about the oil pressure gauge seeing as other than that the engine seemed ok? And would there be a reason for the diagnostic to just not work? Cheers all.
