Yeah,thats what ive done,i reckon 1500 quid to get it sorted at least,that means id have to make him a silly offer for it,hes still says its the knock sensor,so it doesnt look like this ones for me,or anyone else neither :rofl: Ill pop down to zedworld in the week and see whats around there i think,its only 5mins from me.

£2500,so if i spent 1k on it,it would owe me 2500 ish still,mmmnot sure really,ive got zedworld 2 miles from me,so getting it done would be ok,just if theres anything else wrong with it!

Well,ive just spoke to him, and said seized turbos,he thinks its knock sensor,hed take 1600 for a 94 uk with leather,83k on the clock,pretty nice condition really,good paint not rust,just a shame really,how much would turbos be?

Hi guys,test drove another twin turbo today that was down on power,it felt more like a 1.0 than a3.0! When i put my foot down the boost gauge went from -14 to 0 but didnt go above into the + side. Ive done searches on here and if it was in safety boost id still get a + reading on the gauge,or would i? The car is a mint 94 uk spec with dealer history,the seller is prepared to drop the price considerably which has rang a few alarm bells! Any ideas if its in safety boost,or if its a more serious problem?

Is it that simple?Are there any side effects of doing it this way?is it better than relocating the sensor?

Hi guys,ive seen a nice zed for sale,its a uk car with service history,but its got the dreaded knock sensor fault,so its down on power. Ive looked through the archives but cannot find a definate answer to the bypass that can be done with a resistor,does it actually work,or is it a temporary fix,or should it be done properly,as am i right in thinking its an expensive job to correct? The rest of the car is fine,but cant really tell if alls well when theres no power!!

As it happens ive had my mind made up for me,guys decided not to sell as its developed a "fault"?But he is posting my deposit back,bit gutted,got to cancel the insurance now too,so does anybody know of any good zeds local to tamworth?

My garage is wide enough to fit two car in side by side,as long as they are short ones!!!So getting in and out isnt a problem. Im going to have to think about this,i like to keep them indoors while i work away,not from chavs or anything,but from the elements,i normally wax them as they go into the garage and take it off when i use it,then back aon with another coat when ive finished with it!! I live in Tamworth,and thats where zedworld is,was going to let them have alook at it for me when i get it,will think hard about this,not bothered about the money,but i will let the owner know out of courtesy,as theres nothing worse than waiting in for someone who dont come!

Oh no,i wonder if its too late to get my deposit back and look for a 2 seater? Its only £100 i suppose,is there any other differences between 2+2 and a 2 seater? Which is most popular?

Yeah,174 is short,if 178.1 is correct im in trouble,dont want to leave it outside as its not a daily car,just going to be a weekend toy! Is the 2 seater shorter?

Hi guys,complete newbie to the site,im collecting my 300 twin turbo next week,but ive been trying to decide if it will fit in my garage,ive looked around several places for the actual length of these cars,but ive found many answers,some are 169inches,178inches, 173, but can anybody tell me for definate the length? Its a 94 2+2 Thanks in advance,my garae is only 174 inches long so im hoping its less than that!!
