Spark plugs
Guys, Needed to get some new plugs,. This site in the USA sold a set for $64 + $35 P&P. No duty. Seemed good to me http://www.importpartspro.com/index.html Arrived today, 6 days including the weekend, I just know someone will have got them down the road much cheaper, but I couldn't source them!

is this autooil cooler standard
When I had my UK Zs auto box rebuilt the specialist recommended an external cooler. Had it done, guess that's what happened to yours

symptoms of faulty water pump?
It's not necessarily that obvious if the water pump has a leak. There is a small drain hole at the bottom, you can get a small leak out of there which is enough to cause overheating probs without being obvious. i only knew mine was leaking when I had it changed when the cam belt was done, and the staining around it gave the game away. Oh, and the fact it now runs absolutely rock steady on half way up (needle horizontal) :headvswal

vibration prob
I too had this problem. I looked at all the standard fixes, it was none of them. my MOT garage picked up the rear steering arms foe excessive play. These were changed (£64 ish each + labour) and it's now as smooth as greased weasel shit.

mot failure
Hi all, Pleased to say thay after my earlier post I went to a different MOT station who knew Z's a little. They felt the play was 'slight' and passed it. Oh happy day. Because the Nelson quote to replace the rear links containing the rear ball joints as £750.

mot failure
Just failed the MOT for excessive play in the rear lower ball joints . Does anyone know if this is an expensive job? daft Q really! Or is it possible to DIY it.

cylinder not firing
Middle cylinder drivers side is not firing. Fine when turned off one evening, duff next morning. I've swapped the coil pack and the plug over, fault stays on same cylinder. and the plug sparks when the engine is running and it's laying on the block If anyone has any good ideas I'd be glad to hear them. If they involve cleaning sensors etc a pointer to the location would be appreciated. I've managed to locate the PTU (old type) and thats about it. Just off for a pie and a pint (and a moan) Cheers in advance
