  1. i am going to sell my 300z, do i have to be a subscribed member to list it on the forum?
  2. thanks for the info,i will have a go at messing about with that then..
  3. dear gents, 300tt auto, under the bonnet passenger side throttle body, there is a adjusting screw and lock nut, which look like you can alter the idle etc.. what is the real purpose of this nut/screw combo ?
  4. last week i had some idleing issues with my tt300, after acting on the advice given and removing and cleaning nightmare to get to valves and connectors, and everything else, the car runs better, however its now got (how can i put this) a fluffy, hesitation moment when i blip the throttle in neutral, has anyone come across this before? cant find any air leaks.. any suggestions? the motor revs fine.:crying:
  5. I have cleaned loads of connectors, basically the car has a bit of a lumpy idle.. its an auto so it is now jerky when in drive and your foot is on the brake, it starts fine, just idles a bit strange, with a bit of hessitation when you blip the accelerator..!
  6. I would like to pose this question.. when you get a dying or spark plug going bad plug in a ZTT, what symptoms are you likely to get? something is not quite right....anyone had running probs that was cured by new plugs?:helpsmilie:
  7. yes mate rebuild time. mine cost 1500 quid to do.
  8. hi mowerman, where abouts in london are you ?
  9. hi mate, so when you undid the bolts that hold the cas in place ,all your running probs were cured, when you torque them up it runs cr@P,and when its all tight/loose and you press in the middle it runs rubbish again. this could be an earth problem, if you light torque the bolts can yuo get it to run right to prove the problem?
  10. hi mate, has this prob just happened after normal driving.? have you put bad fuel in?
  11. hi mate,if its the rod end that connect to the hub,i got mine from mjp, posted, the garage that fitted them said they were a bit of a pig to do...
  12. my auto tt started doing that sort of thing, i went round and cleaned most of the electrical connects that are accessible, tps etc it now runs great from cold..
  13. Hi, usually most of the time, however i have recently cleaned some elec plugs to help its idle fluctuation, and it seems to have stopped clicking, as of yesterday.. what is this relay , under the dash?
