yes their is a 2 pin connector which is located just near the centre of the tailgate

the wires for the third brake light is behind the trim panel in the tailgate

should do the same to him see if he likes it

if you have male and female connector that goes to the driver side rear light and it goes inbetween the wiring loom and the rear light simpley unplug the loom from the light plug one end into the loom and the other one into the rear light its easy took me 10minutes to fit mine
