Yea tell me about it, it sounds a right nutty cruise plus could you imagine the atmosphere at night, if you find the right place it would just like a gumball. What do you reckon of the 300zx club having a stand or something?

Confused wouldn't insure me. It could be because mine is a import with mods, i'll give it a proper ring around nearer to the time. would be nice to get it below £1500.

You should say to Adrian flux, Sort it lads. Who else is there too try, they quoted me £2233 declaired 450bhp to cover myself for mods thoughout the year. Which may seem allot to you but i was paying £1200 for a 316i on a 92.

Yea i've done some research and found a company called Adrian Flux, They specialise in imports performance and modified. I was insured with them last year. I've past the details onto Mac 1 Who is looking into it. :dance:

Houghton have recently changed their policy and wont insure anyone under 25 so that counts me out. :cry:

I put a post on the forum a while back for the settings for a greddy boost controller Profec B Spec II and i was advised to set it too 13psi. so i put the settings somone else had used to achieve this. it's not hitting no way near this i've only had the boost controller fitted with nothing changed to actuators or anything is this correct.

Right iv'e had a boost controller fitted and it should be hitting 13psi with the current settings but i'm only boosting too 8 somthing why is this. Oh and i'm trying to sort out some Quafe 6 speed gear kits anyone interested please read my post in the advanced tunning section.

Sorry Kirbz for being a pain in the arse but the settings i took off the link above were set to 40% already but checked in the book and that is for the boost consistancy. But the set mode is at 45% do you mean change this one to 40% rather than gain ????

Cheers just printed them off i want to lower mine from 15psi to 13psi to play it save. To do that what do i change. When it was first fitted before setting up your not running any boost at all are you cos it felt dog slow compared to normal. Also Any ideas why it was doing the backing off thing???

I've got the Z back from the garage and they have done all the work also fitted the boost controller but they didn't set it up. I started reading the manual yesterday and Damn that sounds complicated and sounds as if it could take a while to set up. I want to set the Hi to 13psi and the lo to what ever you recommend so could somone please post what they have set each mode to so i can copy their set up. Set Boost Gain Start Boost Warning Limiter for both hi and lo. Also when i picked the car up it was badly miss firering also kept backing off then going could this of been the boost controller not set up or the ecu being reset and having to set it self back up again.

Fitting my boost controller shorly would bypass saftey boost if it is on.

how do i know if i'm running in safty boost or not. you lot must think i'm a right num nut!!

any ideas anyone hopes it's fairly low as when the boost controllers fitted hope she will feel allot faster.

Just watched the vid and oh my god i think i'll run it at 12 psi max till i get new pistons and cams and that.

Oh right ok i'll make sure i'm very carefull with it then What is my Boost set too standered then?
