bov fits
Looks like hard pipe only. Mine got a different metal endpiece so I could replace the recircs with the bov.

new oil in engine
I read somewhere that the RS was downgraded a couple of years ago. BMW now only recommends Castrol TWS 10W60 for their M cars. In essence the TWS is the old (and better) RS.

action shots from joint meet
Nice wheels on that yellow Z!!

best looking front bumper
wow, this thread is an absolute shocker to me. If you spent most of your time on US forums (as I have) you understand why. Anything besides stock, jspec, greddy, pentroof and the likes is cause for furious flaming. Hé, anybody should very much do what he likes. But some of those facias (blade, veilside c2) makes me wonder.

Best type of tyres?
MMM non of you like the Bridgestone potenza so3 tyres?? I´m pretty sure these are the ones to get.

Intercoolers fmic
Why do you want a fmic?? There are only 2 reasons for those: looks or insane horsepower. And if you got a high hp car I wouldn´t trust a 600 dollar fmic. Hell a descent smic costs more than that. And that "bolt on/ easy to install bit" ...yeah right!!

dump valves
And the best, so get those.

problem with rad harpipe kit
Well I´m glad to say that I can end this thread on a positive note. After the tread got started he immidiatly tried to solve the problem. He is going to arrange a bead rolled pipe for me that will probably cure my problem. So a big thanks to Smithy and the way he deals with his customers. Well most of you probably know this already, but it´s a pleasure doing business with him. :) greetZ tom

problem with rad harpipe kit
Kinda think I found the answer. The Smithy pipe has no grip on the end of the pipe like the Stillen one and the silicone will get very slippery when wet. This in combination with the nismo radiator cap (more pressure) causes the pipe to `free´ itself from the silcone connecting elbow. Well i can´t afford to ruin my engine by losing coolant all the time, so a Stillen kit for me then :(

problem with rad harpipe kit
it´s the 3th time in a short time that the bottom rad hardpipe just loosend itself from the silicone connection bit. This obviously means that i´m losing all my coolant which is not good  . The last time I made very sure the pipe and silicone bit were verry wel connected (used two clips!!) and it still blew off. What is causing this???

AVS rims
I´ve done some further checking since my post and also found out that the offset is not optimal. 35 or 30 would be better (but why is the stock rim 45 then??) But thanx for the info anyway  . I´ve read your faq before posting but how you get to the right offset is still a bit unclear to me. Well I´m still learning, so I´ll get it eventually (I hope) :)

AVS rims
Hello everyone, i´m looking for new wheels for my Z. Personaly I like the AVS model 5´s. But will these fit the car. I´ve done some research but I like to be sure on this one. The front is 18×8J - pcd 114.3 - offset 45, and the rear wheels will be 18×9J pcd 114.3 - offset 35. Well let me know, thanx.

questions questions
hi, couple of things i wanna ask. first of, is there a shop in the uk that sells specific Z things (like those Z nose badges). I have a whole list of US shops but the shipping cost is probably less from the UK to the Netherlands then it is from the US. next one is about those nismo oil/radiater/fuel caps. there are pretty expensive (£53 for an oil cap at prospec), but i see a lot of them floating around on ebay for $5 or so. what´s up with that  ? and do these caps come in different materials? on ebay i saw one that was made of titanium; regulair shops only seem to have aluminium ones. last, does anyone know of a place that still has that Z keyring (like the one on Zclub.net)? i would appreciate the input. greetZ tom
