  1. Well I decided to have a Coke Zero, is that any help?
  2. Yes Vinz did, he got his from the same guy as I did. They are OK, reasonable quality. At the end of the day it's fake, but that's what you're paying for ;) On mine the two across the window vents have started to lift, so I may well peal them off and leave them off, not sure yet. Other than that it's been fine. I beleive the guy we both bought off has since left ebay, but most of them do the same kits.
  3. Put a multi-meter across the plug end to see what, if any, voltage you are getting. If you've bough H3c bulbs, with two prongs, then thats the right sort. Looks like you could have another problem somewhere.
  4. My dad's got a pile of old 'Classic & Sports Car' magazines, and has been going through some of them this week. He's come across this little feature on the December 2002 NISMO festival, from March 2003 eddition........ If he finds anymore articles, I'll post them up.
  5. Well with a JSpec bulb (H3c) you have two spades on the bulb base, so you have a twin female connector on the cars loom. On the Euro bulb (H3) you just have one spade on a wire. So you are adding a second spade, with wire, to the metal body of the headlamp assembly to form an earth. You now have two spades again that will go into the connector on the loom. Tip - Get some internal cooker wire from your local small appliance repair shop (single core heat resistant type) and use this for the additional wire.
  6. Night At The Museum... 9 Star rating this one gets. Absolutely loved this film, and so did the kids ;) http://www.nightatthemuseum.com/ Top film, with some well known stars in it, Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams and Ricky Gervais........... as well as, Mickey Rooney, Steve Coogan and the biggest surprise was that Owen Wilson doesn't even have his name in the cast list, but must be in at least 70% of the film!! Very well made film for all the family, not that it's a kids film, as a good number of grown ups will enjoy this one as well. Recommended, 9 Stars. :D
  7. Have a look here >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27029 But ignore the link as it deosn't work, just the thread page will mtell you all you need to know. HTH Dave
  8. Going to the cinema tomorrow to watch Night At The Museum, with the kids. Just to give them something to look for when we go down to London in a couple of weeks time (Visiting the natural History Museum :D )
  9. Well DVD review actually, Children Of Men - Clive Owen Just got around to watching this film, fancied it when it first came out. Not quite what I was expecting, but a very good and graphic film. Not for the squeamish, as there is a bit of blood flying around, some of which is on the camera lens for around four minutes :D Just goes to show that that whole film sequence was shot in one go, which is very well done considering how much actually goes on in that scene. Movie site here >> http://www.childrenofmen.net/ Some may think it's a bit slow to start, and to be honest it is, but stick with it, it is worth it in the end. A very well made and put together BRITISH film. I'm going to start a star rating this time around.... 0 = Crap...... 10 = The DOGS!! Children Of Men = ..................... 7 Stars So, if you fancy a night in and reflect on things that might be, take a look at this one, and why not? ;)
  10. Cheers Mike, I'm in all day tomorrow anyway (sorting the Zed out) Do they take a cheque or card at the door, or is it cash only?
  11. I thought I had a better pic than this, but can't find one...

  19. Cheers Mike, I've just got the update, and as you say it now en-route to the delivery depot. But she never said that to me, she simply said, no letter, no way (well that's not what she said exactly, but I've condensed it ;) ) She never said anything like what you've just said So will they try to deliver it? Or will they just hold it, then send me a letter requesting payment? because last time this happened, they held on to it and sent a letter, without even trying to deliver it  Cheers bud Dave
  20. The door pillar caps, the roof lining and the T-Bar outter panels are all vinyl covered. so can be changed with leather if you want to. Then just buy a nice set of LCD monitor sunvisors!! There you go, all sorted :D
  21. Pension Age is 65. Retirement age is whenever you want to ;) It depends on you circumstances, private pension etc. Some people I work with have already retired I think, at least I never see them do any bloody work  but then neither do I
  22. It only looks like the bridge of the Enterprise when it's all lite up  Other than that pretty subtle during the day. All the new gauges are smoked as well. Just got to find how to get from the drivers footwell into the engine compartment. (for the wires, not me personally ;) )
  23. Only 25 years left for me  ;)
