  1. Go for it!! :D Glad you're sorted though :D
  2. Some of the codes changed over the years, that paint chart is from February 1993 (coded lower right corner ;) ) I've also got that one :D The only way to know for sure, as stated above, is to look on your Vin plate, just here......
  3. Utterly amazing!!
  4. Spot-on :duffer: I can't believe they'd make that sort of mistake and not notice!
  5. As title, can you spot it on these jackets from eBay?.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-JACKET-nismo-300-200sx-S4_W0QQitemZ140080966228QQihZ004QQcategoryZ27401QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. OK, thanks for that, it can wait :D
  7. As title, anyone seen Nick tonight? Trying to get hold of him ;)
  8. Yep had my window down today as well :D
  9.
  10. Hey-up Nick, you've got a new message in your guestbook :D
  11. The only reason I didn't say that it's 12vdc in and 110vac out is because you were after the frequency as well, which I didn't know, which is why I sugested speaking to vijay, as he has all the info on them. I wish I had now  Ooooooooo that panel looks nice, I bet it's new owner will like it!
  12. Have a word with Vijay, as he's sorting these out at the moment.
  13. The only problem is when you are hauled onto the flat-bed of a tow truck. As tow cable will catch on the bottom edge of the bumper. But then it'll catch on the bottom of most bumpers.
  14. I've actually started other things instead
  15. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=87590 We noticed ;)
  16. To the law.... NO, it's illegal, same as fancy writing, small plates etc. The only plates that are legal in the Uk, for UK registered vehicles are the standard letter size style and spacing. But, it's up to you ;)
  17. If you've got a +ve and -Ve at 12vdc then it should work. Doesn't even matter if you get them the wrong way round (not that you can). Give this a try...... Take one of your front fog lamps out (or any normal H3 bulb) make up a temp earth strap, push the (temp)earth strap into one of the two loom plug spades and connect the H3 to the other loom plug spade. Don't bother mounting it into the headlamp, as you need it in your hand (watch out it could get hot quickly) now touch the other end of the (temp) earth strap to the metal of the H3. If it lights, you know the new bulbs are duff! If not I have no fooking idea at the moment :D ** Don't let any of this temp wiring or bulb touch the metal of the car, just in case you've connected it to the wrong spade :D It'llbe OK for the test, just keep it in your hand.
  18. Yep, I know what you mean, and a good idea. Why don't you return to the original handbrake cover then, and send me that nice shiney one :D
  19. I think the clip gets in the way a bit, I know it's not easy to get in there anyway, in fact with all the turbo associated stuff it's a right pain in the arse :D Nope sorry, no easy way. Before you start searching around, check with you meter at the plug, on both headlamps, as they run separate sides, there is a left hand loom and a right hand loom, with their own relays and fuses. The only thing common to both is the earth circuit and the switch. HTH Dave
  20. That looks very nice indeed, as Si says, looks original. Colour goes very well with your Cherry Red, suits it well. Just one thing, you could do with a Navan auto shifter, will go nicely with you hand brake. :D
  21. The saga continues.............. I received a letter today requesting customs duty. They never even tried to deliver it (just the same as last time!) Total bill £33.88, of which breaks down to.... Import Duty....................... £10.67 V.A.T.................. ............ £15.21 Parcelforce Clearance Fee.... £ 8.00 Total................................ £33.88 Arr well, you can't win them all. It's been in the UK since Tuesday, I won't receive it until tomorrow (Friday) such a great service you receive in the UK!! Saying that it took just over 24 hours from being handed over in Hong Kong to actually leaving the country (same city)
  22. No girls 'putting out' round here either!!
  23. Nothing wrong with caffine, especially at 1 in the morning as a Vodka Red Bull (I need it these days, as I'm getting older and can't hack a full night out without at least one or five ;) )
  24. I thought about beer, but had two problems with it.... 1) I haven't got any left at the mo :D And 2) I got rat-arsed last night, and I really should get something constructive done tomorrow :D
