TG anyday but if 5th gear was on i will watch it.

My alloys are really bad. well 3 are not to bad but they have started to go. but the drivers rear is almost grey and it has only really taken a week to get to that state :( With everything under the car brand new and the amount of £££ i want to keep it that was now. as i notice some surface rust on the stillen drop links and they have only been fitted for 2 months :( So i will be buying another car now for the rain and winter months. So i will wet and dry the lip back to the metal the 1500's and a good buff up. What products did you find best SI ?? i will try the polish route first then if its to much work then i can always laqure later. With the lip being polished i presume that it is bare metal with laqure on top and not sprayed Cheers for your help guys :)

Well my wheels have taken a beating on the winter roads. All the laqure has started to flake and dirt has started to get under etc. Now the lips isnt s/s its just polised alloy. so what i was wondering is i was going to wet and dry the whole lip and polish it to a high finish and keep it well waxed, or with the 1st sign of water will it turn grey?? If this is the case then i will have to relaqure them. Its not the spokes that have gone funny its just the lip :(

Mongoose is the one to go for. its just a little bit deeper than the std one. As for the air filter you shouldnt really be able to here that. Its most likely your exhaust.

Just give them a light sand on them 1st before wasting your money. They will be sqweeling because you will have a shiney surface on your pad.

I had no heater for over a year. in the end it turned out to be my matrix was blocked with rad weld or somthing like. So i just dissconnected the heater pipes and stuck a hose pipe on one side and blew all the crap out and now i am loverly and warm :)

I also had a knock. got my old man to have a look at the front while rolling then when i pressed the brake. i would get a knock as the whole caliper was moving. It turned out to be the top upper suspention arm had quite a bit of sideways movement in it causing the caliper lower down to move. Should check this while your wheel is off. But you will need to take off the big suspention arm first. really easy just 1 14mm nut and bolt. Or possibly the front tension rod but its more likely to be the upper arm HTH

What you can try and do is to take some sand paper to the face of your pad and give it a good sanding to take the shine off. Also while you are doing this sand all the edges and put a radius on them, Then they should not squeel for a fair few miles :)

Not sure i went for normal grease as it will get into everything

The indicators are off the mr2 Simular but it dosnt have the indicators. I actully perfer hat one with the like that luke sells. Infact i think i may get that next :cool:

I did mine so the looked fat lol!!! and grease eveything as they rust really quick :(

Mine turned out to be the drop link had come lose :(
