  1. hmm,no still the same way as standard postion but allows you to position the pcv valve at a angle of your choice as its now on the end of a piece of pipework, this should stop a oil build up i would have thought?surpose that is what the small round metal restricters are for in the pipes as they are also in the short pipes from the top of the rocker boxes to the turbo intake pipes,to slow down/trap any oil mist.
  2. surpose you could remove the old pcv valves and punch the centre out of them so the valve bits gone then wind them back in, put a pipe on them and then put the new threaded part of the pcv into the pipe with a hose clip to hold it in position, then mount it upwards and then reconnect the main pipe to the rocker box, would mean that you would have to replace or lenghtern some of the pipe work tho, with the one me and my brother in law are doing we have removed/modded so much stuff on it as we have been putting it back together theres nothing to put back on,its great, turns a hard car to work on what with all the pipes and hoses into a very clean simple engine to work on.
  3. as you look at either side of the inlet manifold they are postioned one each side with a pipe off them, remove the pipe and unwind/undo them (17 or 19 spanner)i think.
  4. you said that the pcv valves were replaced along with the pipes, the old pipes if you look inside them have small metal round restricter's in them which slow down the flow of air and would also stop oil mist, know that from putting one back together as i've just replaced the headgaskets and replacing all the pipe work for silicone type, might be worth a look.
  5. cheers for that, think i am also going to get rid of the pre cats that are still fitted just after the turbo and fit some stanless 2in1 downpipes which i have just found in the states, cheap too,
  6. cheers, have just been looking at the plemune(inlet manifold)water bypass mod, prvr valve removal mod,aiv system removal mod and the carbon can remove mod, worth doing i think as its all apart, regarding boost wise as the blitz comes with its own solinold should it be ok to run upto around 11 to 14.5 bar boost or do 300zx's have fuel cut built into the ecu if too much boost is sensed?
  7. spelling is not the best sorry, :p
  8. right then i have a uk H reg tt,i am in the middle of replacing the head gaskets,i have sent the heads away for crack teating and possilbe very light skim if needed, the car has no cats and a after market stainless exhaust fitted, cone foam air filters, large front mount intercooler, was told when i got it it had a uprated chip but not sure, alloy rad with eletric fan mod, lightweigth crank pully and air con removed.i have already ordered some parts, cometic metal headgaskets, new belt kit and idlers, arp headbolt kit,egr valve blank off kit,the car runs standard turbos and boost as far as i know, have been told the standard fuel pump is good for up to 550bhp but was thinking that if i remove the standard fuel pressure reg and split the front rubber fuel rail connecting pipe and put a brass T piece in and then one the other end and then into a new ajustable pressure reg i should be able to make the standard 370cc injectors flow abit more(400cc)and also this will stop the fuel pressure drop on number 6 injector,i have done this on my impreza as its called a parallel fuel rail mod, also i am going to fit a blitz sbc boost controller to tweak the boost a little, can anyone tell me what a 300zx tt runs standard boost, also what the standard fuel pressure is at idle with the vacuume disconected.cheers
  9. yes i just got hold of one for my impreza
