,the time has come to sell my z as much as it pains me my new job just means she has to go as i cant give her time i need the thing is in the dorset area i cant seem to shift her for any sensible price, but even on ebay i cant get a bid plenty of people wanting to do swaps , any advise please and what sort of price should i be looking for?

well definatly paid a hundred quid for the wrong one then even though some nes wrote 300zx all over it send it back and try and get the rite one sent back

can any body tell me what the correct part number is for a 1992 tt import ive had problems every now and then since i had the car with the maf and now i believe its given up the ghost ,the one i had on the car has an orange label part number 22680 30p00 a36_000 n62 the replacement i got has a green label part number 22680 02u00 a36-000 j60 , or is it a case of just older and newer or is it from different models any advice please please please ..... :bow:

ive got the apexi super intake filter fitted needs replacing really as its getting a bit on the filthy side now

cheers guys ive had the batt off today charging and i took the maf and filter off too to give em a clean ,(apexi super intake )no signs of damp in the conectors but a little in between the filter and maf housing where they join so in giveng them both a blast with the hair dryer and see wot tommorow brings , but if a no go i may well take you up on your offer snoopy,

parked my car at work this week (admittedly running low on feul,) i left her faceing the wind and the rain , you know whats comming people , went to start her up which was fine , pulled away and started to drive home when she lost revs , checking the feul gauge i was just about out or the way she was behaving out of feul,idiot i am, topped up which a jerry can sparked up started to drive then she started to couugh and splutter and die on me , this did happen a few monts ago in the real bad rain we had but she would fire up and if i kept the revs up i could drive but the moment my foot was off she died then it would be an age before i could get her statred again , but this time she would fire idle rough as hell and die or fiire up rev to bout 2500 revs coughing all the way and die ,called the AAout and he checked the feul pump which he seemed to think was fine by listening to it ,and towed me home , but reading other threads on hear it could be the maf is gone am i rite or any chance of something more simple as i need the car for work mon

i would go with the t cut or a similar cutting compound not to harsh but you will find that if its been over sprayed on to polished areas it will lift off no problem

hi managed to get in the car this weekend and o my god yes there was a dry joint in the black box i could hear it clicking away so i thought it was ok but no you were rite many many thanks , my soldering skills aint up to much but i managed to do it and its working fine again many thanks for the tip and the offer

just another train of thought as well , depending on how much fuel was in your tank , but mine did the same not long ago when i was getting a bit low coughing and splurting like no body it turned out to be a piece of crap in the fuel tank that kept getting picked up in the pick up pipe filled the tank up to get me home ok then flushed the tank , just worth thinking about

sorry i didnt get back to you ive not had a chance to have a look th bloody water tank in my house split and ive been dealing with that the last couple of days but i will get back to you as soon as ive had achance to have a look

ill have a look at it today thats if i can get my door panel off with the window up have a play around with the black box , but if thats no joy then many thanks i will have the motor off of you , ill let you know tonite how i got on

hi guys n gals my drivers side window stopped working today just as it was getting dark luckerly in the up position {phew} on a quick inspection i think the motors gone as the black control box is clicking away but i will double check for dry joints or broken wires , but it does sound like a new motor well secound hand will be needed any body out there got one,or know where to get one and roughly how much wonga, cheers folks

hi guys and gals ,as a relitive virgin to the super world of z s a quick question as to fault code reading ive a 92 model ,is there any fault code readers availible in the uk market or is the fault code reader built in to the vehicle some how , i see draper do them for the 200sx , ny help would be appriciated ,

working on big subs at the moment lol.

ive got an annoying creak from the rear suspension at low speed ,the shocks and springs are less than 2 years old ive had a quick look and cant see any wear in the the bushes ,its very dry in there so do i need to lub any thing up or is it some thing more serious ,cheers folks ,

hi guys and gals ive at last got my self a zed and what a great site by the way, its taken me a few years to get to a stage in my life where i can afford to insure buy and run one, {kids nearky grown up and all that }but im not in the position to take it to the garage for every little thing that goes wrong ,soooo my question is ,apart from the downloadable service manual is thier any kind of haynes type availible , i know haynes dont do one for a 92 model please help pweaty please

does any one have instructions on the old style apexi AVC-R , i think the model number is 9405 its about 4 inches wide and an inch tall , it came with my z and after going to the apexi web site i still cant find a hand book on how to operate it . if i just turn the power off will that afect the running at all.thanks guys and gals :cry:
