  7. happy birthday dude, have a goodun :) Mike
  8. yes get the ecu mapped to uk fuel then you dont have to use octane booster. The 300 is not as bad of the scooby for detting with fuel. There is a det sensor in the engine and if it senses detting it knocks the car into safety boost (7psi) to protect it. Kirbz
  9. i say 210 it prob 200 more like which is just over 90 c so not much difference. Yeh didnt sell and i wont sell for any less so its going no where :) Kirbz
  10. mine is in fahrenheit or how ever you spell it and mine goes between 175 at normal driving upto about 200-210 in traffic or giving it a bit of stick :)

kick her out and buy some nice new alloys ;)
  12. why dont you piggy back the wires from your boost guage? thats what i have done, all my guages are wired together Kirbz
  13. still worth doing that then just getting 2 plugs and doing the back and front its the back that tends to be the worse anyway but a job worth doing, i think you did yours didnt you mark? Mike
  14. get 4 core plugs take the old ones out and dremmel the slag out of the water channels, you will be amazed how much crap there is in there and it really helps cooling!!
  15. Yep this is the same one i tried to buy and yes he is dodgy and has ripped off loads of people so ebay will be getting an email!! What is it with ebay at the moment!! getting near christmas so need to rip a few people off
  16. right so agreed that mrogers is the new SW events person?? I will PM you with more details :) Cheers Mike
  17. yes if i was swapping the whole wheel!! but i'm not i will get the tyres taken off the alloys and swapped thus making it OK :) to answer the other question no it wont eat them that quickly mine does because it has been set up for max grip so the camber is slightly more!! the things we do for grip ;)
  18. well its a fact the bigger the wheels the more it cambers so the more uneven wear so i suppose its just one of those things, i think you can move the rears slightly but then your getting into rubbing on the arches then so its a cars of which is worse!! all i'm going to do is get the tyres swapped over after a few thousand miles to even it up :)
  19. it all depends on how wide you go I would say the best all rounder is a set of 18's 8 or 8.5 inch fronts with 235x40x18's and a set of 9.5's or 10's for the rear with either 265 or 275x35x18's You can go 19's and thats what i have but the camber will affect the wear of the tyres in time so if you want bigger alloys 18's are a good bet Kirbz
  20. I lost count of mods and money ;) :)
