Well just to let you guys know that after a mix up with points and the event being cut short due to a marshal being hit by a car doing a burn out (think he wasnt badly injured) The winner of the event and the world TOTB champion is Ron Kidell in his Red R32 Skyline So well done Ron and well deserved and roll on the rest of the year as its gonna be the best racing to date :) Mike

no but looks like its because i'm not running any air flow meters and nothing on the turbos just meshing but the turbos are that big the standard engine mounts cover 1/4 of the turbo inlet and my tuner says with where the turbos are situated theres no clean air passing into the turbo so cant take in enough air to make more boost so were making some custom mounts so we can get some pipework onto the turbos and get some filters on and mount them in the bumper to get some decent air in there :) also going to a twin MAF setup using a power FC ECU ;) Mike

Obviously ive ready the post in the other section but just to carry on giving advice to bazza. I was actually going for a set of the gt675's well same spec ie the disco potato ;) Now the gt28rs is actually a bigger turbo than the 2530 and can flow more but has more lag, not much more but does have more lag and to be honest for a road car i think may be too big, on the skylines there making 700 bhp from the gt-rs' turbos and about 550-600 from the 2530's but finding the 2530's alot easier to live with and i dont see why the same shouldnt apply to the 300zx. Yes the HKS turbos are £1000 more but IMHO a worth while extra expense for the sheer proven record them and there turbos have. I just wish Greddy had the same commitment to turbos as HKS have at development of faster spool up turbos. Like i say its all down to not just what ive read, looked into but also used. Mike
