hi there i bought one of these aircon recharge bottles from halfords the other day to top up my system, but the nozzle is too big for the fill valve on the car. has anyone else had this prob, and how did you get over it. or are you all loaded and go to a specialist....lol. is there a adapter i can easily buy, or am i stuffed, any help would be muchly appreciated. cheers

cheers for the advice, took the rad out today, and found the leak. a blown hose just after the solid pipe from the rad above the stat. but its a pain in the arse to get at. one last question if i may be so bold.... will standard rad hose up to 170 c be enough or should i go for the higher rated hose..[ATTACH]41841[/ATTACH]

bit of a duh question this one ...encountered quite a frisky water leak this weekend.. engine was at running temp when i stopped, and steam billowed from under the bonnet, when i popped it there was lots of water fizzing from the area above the water pump, looked like it was coming from either of the cooling pipes going under the plenum above the pump.....could it be the stat housing or hopefully just a knackered hose.....Main question, how easy is it to DIY....took one look and thought id better ask on here first. Anyone know of any reasonably priced jap specialists in the gloucester area...... really wanted her up and running for japfest but that dont look too good now.....HELP PLEASE..........Cheers

hellooooooo, new zed owner in gloucester, need some guidance, no owners manual, lots of shiney buttons and switches, no idea what theyre all for. lol. main one the a/t, hold, power switch on the auto box, whats it for, will i knacker it by having it in POWER all the time?, need some bits too, posted in the parts wanted section if anyone can help. cheers.
