  1. A black and white car at the stadium of light - thats what I like to hear :D
  2. Bummer! It never gave me any problems getting through an MOT here. Maybe less fussy up north! :( All of the cabling and relay are tucked away behind the rear centre pannel accessed through the boot. Should be easy to ID the feed and stick an external fog on. I thought the brake light conversion is much neater though Hope you get it sorted soon ...and the O2 sensor! David
  3. I'm a big fan of microsoft active server pages (ASP). Use them a lot in our intranet with many pages built up from content in access (or sometimes oracle) databases. Makes it very easy to update the content and keep the site fresh. I've written pages that query our call management system that have saved call centre supervisors hours of data compilation. Have to agree with Bigbscan though - you've got to have a definate idea of what people want David
  4. Yup, it was me! And counts as my only spot too :-)
  5. Ian, Sounds a bit familiar I'm afraid. If you do a search on my user name you'll find a few posts about aircon. The compressor was broken when I got the car so I had a second hand unit fitted. The guy who fitted it commented on the wobble and asked if the donor car had been in a crash but it seemed to work fine. The system was gassed up by ACS (I think - label inside engine bay if its still there) using the r12 drop in replacement gas. They gave it a clean bill of health and all was well for a while. After a while I started getting a bit of a squeal but didn't have time to look into it so I removed the fuse (rather than cutting the belt). Last summer I went back to ACS. System was confirmed leak free again but was completely empty. Once again, after the re-gassing all was well. I wonder if the system is loosing gas or something. It certainly doesn't seem to last long. I wonder if the system has the correct amount of oil/lubricant in there since the compressor was fitted. David
  6. :( Sorry to hear about your problems! I'm very familiar with the clicky flashy business at start up. My first red zed did that to me once - not great. I got away with just a new battery that time. Not likely to help you in this case but I haven't forgotten the datascan stuff. Its sitting next to me in a jiffy bag and will be on its way down to you in the post tonight. David
  7. There is a clue at the bottom of the screen. those codes are colour codes for html

  11. chicken chatt to start, lamb bhuna and a plain nann. Oh god I'm starving! I could eat that now and its only 9:35! Do you deliver as far as Whitley Bay? ;) Good luck with the business David
  12. If you're really pushed I've still got my Nissan datascan software and cable. I work in Peterlee. I could bring that in one day and we could maybe meet at a lunch time to check for ECU error codes. I've only ever had NAs so not sure how much use I'd be looking for boost leaks on a TT though! David
  13. wheel bearing gone? I had a worn one. Tightened up the hub to try to hold it all together and ended up with a bloody awful grinding noise! David
  14. 18/20 - School boy error on number 2 and an unlucky guess at number 19 - D'oh!
