  1. i only had the lips all resprayed a month before it go written off!! so did you get to use much from the car? was it in a bad way? did he tell you how he crashed it?
  2. Thanks for the reply I figured it might of been stripped as it looked like a lot of work to fix it. A shame though it was a nice car and I looked after it pretty well. Did you ever hear how he managed to write it off?? I guess the engine was blown in the crash? That must of been prettty annoying. Did he keep the wheels? I liked those wheels and got them refurbed before selling. And got the bumper stone chips all removed and respirated. I wonder what he kept from it.
  3. just curious to know if anyone on here ever bought it and restored it or if it just got stripped for parts this was the post from the guy that bought it off me. hed only had it two weeks https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179092-1995-Manual-Nissan-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-Spares-Repairs&highlight=1995+white
  4. thanks! haha i used to have a white 1995 TT manual for sale, and that guy bought it and wrote it off after 2 weeks. then someone on here i think bought it. i always wondered what happened to it though. for now i just have the left over spares to get rid of.

  10. cheers for that, unfortunately i already read that and mine doesnt seem to be so simple as a bit of grit. sadly. althou i didnt spray wd40 into the motor. il give that a try, but seeing as its actually now counting backwards, i think i might be passed that point of an easy fix?
  11. oh its a 1995 tt, forgot to mention the year, incase anyone has a speedo cluster lying about for sale
  12. hi, does anyone know where i can get either a whole new speedo assembly or ideally, just the odo and stepper motor? im not trying to clock it back, im sure most ppl will assume i am, but im honestly not, i dont do nearly enough miles to make it worth the effort (i would say that though right?) my speedo stopped counting up miles and after taking it all apart it seems the stepper motor has some problem as the actual miles counter runs freely and smoothly. oh and the speedo and everythinkg else works fine, just it doesnt clock up the mileage. after putting it all back together, my counter is now running backwards somehow :S i bought a new cluster but its slightly older and slightly different. it will fit, but i would like to fix my original one. any ideas or help would be great thanks!
  13. so did anyone manage to find the location of the drivers side tube? at the moment i have the tube pulled back from the wing and going into a bucket in the car, far from ideal! surprising how quick the bucket fills when it rains too!
  14. was hard to see anything with the mass of wires and fuses around there! sorry what do u mean bits?
  15. hi, did u ever fix this problem as i think i may have the same thing! ive had to take out the whole carpet as passenger side is damp and driver side has puddles! if i pour water onto the roof it comes straight out into the footwell!! so far i have been un able to find the driver side tube :S was it easy to get to once u found it?
