  1. I completely forgot to abut oiling the Apexi filter...I will do that 1st thing in the morning. The filter did look like it had been cleaned prior to its departure from the UK. My guess is that the last person who cleaned it neglected to oil it. cheers to everybody for all of your insight. As I said b4, u people are way more helpful than the blokes I was dealing w/ on the Honda forums. There just seems to be so level of maturity amongst nissan owners.
  2. After listening to all of your advice, I decided to take the grill off and check out the MAF again. Well, u guessed it! The MAF is actually functioning properly (thank God) and the Filter was somewhat wet. After leaving the MAF and filter out in the 30 C sun for an hour, they seemed to dry out and after reattaching them, the car works perfect again. PS: I am really liking my decision to switch from Honda to Nissan!
  3. Cheers Mate any suggestions of UK websites who carry 300zx pts? I have already checked @ my local Nissan Dealership and the want 400pounds for a new one if they can even order it since they say it's discontinued
  4. Note: I have done several searches and found little conclusive in regards to my issue. I have a 1990 Jspec 300zx which I just finnished importing from the UK to Canada. It's been an amazing car except in thunder storms and when it's insanely humid out. I understand that it gets way more humid Canada than the UK. I was getting a code 12 @ one point (MAF) but that went away when I sprayed the MAF connector w/ dampening and water sealant sprays. I am now getting no codes but it still missfires/bogs down whenever the humidity is above 75% while it's above 25 C outside. Here's all of the issues: 1) It will not hold idle w/o me holding my foot on the excelerator when I am stationary. 2) If I attempt to accelerate above 2900RPM, I get a crazy missfire. 3) When I accelerate my boost gauge barely moves above 0. 4) Sometimes it helps by turning off the car and turning it back on right away. Any help would be much appreciated...Cheers in advance.
